  3. It is a ms ffb stick. What exactly do I need to do? I don’t use the stick to do trim though. I’m using the Cessna trim wheel.
  4. Still same error. I setup elevator trim on any axis and when I try to adjust it the plane starts to yaw left or right and flip over. I can’t be the only one that noticed this?
  5. I just bought a quest 2 and there’s a noticeable decrease in performance with it compared to the rift s and not much improvement in quality. Better FOV, fitment and sweet spot but performance across the board is down 25% I would guess. And I’m using it with a 3090. These higher end headsets are borderline usable with DCS unless you lower the settings to medium which I am not prepared to do. Fs2020 runs great for me with all settings on high and ultra. I was surprised how badly it ran in DCS since DCS basically was the grandfather of vr support in a sim. These guys need to do better. Instead of throwing out module after module they should really be concentrating on replacing this old graphics engine first. They were cutting edge 5 years ago but now they are pulling up the rear.
  6. I just mapped my elevator trim wheel to my cessna trim wheel and it controls the aileron trim instead? Even when mapping the trim up and down to keys or buttons it still controls aileron trim. Is this a bug? I haven't been able to map a way to control my elevator trim.

  8. Can you guys check the amber LEDs on the weapon mounts and see if the lights turn on and off as you move your head side to side? Even in non-VR I see the issue.
  9. Same issue with the new A10 cockpit. You have to scrunch down to see the whole HUD. When you do it you look like a dwarf that is one foot away from the seat of the aircraft...
  10. Mine went from 45 to 30 :/ I'm also having problems with the weapon mount LED lights that are amber and showing lit in some head positions and not others. Other than these issues the new cockpit is amazing.

  12. What is the deal with the cockpit upgrade? Is this thing ever going to come out? Last i heard it was late last year and now we are into late this year and still crickets what’s going on?!
  13. I’ve been having all kinds of trouble with mine. Plugging in and out restarting etc and getting random display blackouts with the rift. Pulled plug from rift and reinserted until I heard an audible click of the cable going in and so far all is well. Thinking either the cable has a tendency to work it’s way out or the factory is not installing the cables correctly. I was surprised how much force was required and the sound of the click when it snapped in. Been working great since I did that. So far anyway. Either way this product has got some technical issues that need resolved. Rift 1 worked great out of the box. This one seems to have some QC issues...
  14. It's beyond preposterous at this point considering all the other modules they keep pumping out. Either fix the module or take it off the store already.:mad:
  15. I’m starting to think about returning mine. The jump in resolution is nice but I can’t seem to get a good sweet spot for fitment and IPD and the FOV is definitely reduced. It’s a win lose situation for me right now and not sure I’d rather spend $400 on this or something else. I still have 11 days to return it so still deciding. I don’t think it’s an overall large enough jump over the cv1 for the price though.
  16. Me either. My IPD is up there too at 69.5mm. Setting it at that in the oculus setup makes no difference to any visuals that I can tell. Things are a bit blurry on the left side for me. Will be interesting to see what kind of aftermarket addons will come out for this thing since it's so spartan compared to the cv1.
  17. Nope. I just unplugged the old stuff and plugged in the new and it picks it right up.
  18. Got mine hooked up. So far works well without any issues. Resolution is much better but not mind blowingly better. It’s pretty clear though and a definite step up. You can now read most screens and switches without having to lean in as long as the cockpit is illuminated. Sound is fine for me. Performance for me seems smoother than with cv1 for some reason. Just more glass smooth. Colors are much brighter as is the gamma. I had to turn it two notches down in fact it was so bright compared to the cv1. At the moment I have nothing bad to say about it. I’ll move my cv1 over to my main gaming rig now I guess where there’s more room to do room scale stuff unlike in my cockpit area.

  22. Very concerning all these problems with the S and no video after a while. Did they not test this thing? Hard to believe a problem that obvious wasn't found if they did. A lot of that going around these days with 'testers' missing very obvious flaws and bugs. I will definitely monitor this thread and others for the time being. Picking mine up tonight. DCS is the only thing I used it for so if it doesn't work right with that then it's not much use to me.
  23. It takes weeks to get used to VR dude. I was sick for 3 weeks when I first got my rift 3 years ago. You have to work through it. I still get nauseous when I play any other games other than flight sims!
  24. I ordered one at my local bestbuy too. After reading this thread... Picking it up tomorrow night though after dinner down that way with the family.
