  1. As far as FC3 goes you cannot roll back to lower version. I sincerely hope that ED won't throw the responsibility on Logitech - G940. I've had G940 since its release and have flown different incarnations of FC1,2/DCS World and many other games/sims with it without any major problems and certainly without any FFB problems. Current DCS World version has messed up FFB axis assigments for G940 and I really cannot imagine how can be this a problem on logitech side as 1.2.1 version works well. I've always supported ED's products and it would be a major disappointment for me if this bug wasn't fixed, as it doesn't seem to be some complex coding problem.
  2. Any aicraft can land at those speeds, however the question is about its usability after such "landing"
  3. Such loadouts are out of question for real-world use. Under normal conditions you would use only a 16x9A4172 with optionally two droptanks, ECM. With other guided munitions a real combat load would comprise only 2xKH-29T/L, ECM, or 4xS-25L with ECM. You wouldn't carry IRL VIKHRs on SEAD missions.
  4. ... and it hasn't been addressed in the current today's update :(
  5. In previous versions (1.2.1) G-940 worked FFB without any problems and I haven't updated anything on it, so I suppose that it is a problem on EDs end. Moreover I don't have such problem in any other sim I currently fly (Il-2, FSX, Falcon BMS, Strike Fighters).
  6. I've never said that it is a pretty work-around. Su-25A and Su-25T for sure use trim buttons (electrically controlled trim) placed on the stick. You just can't use trim axis for those aircraft as it does not exist in real life. Autopilot utilizes trim to control the aircraft so if you select level autopilot mode and disengage it, you will get perfectly trimmed aircraft. It is normally not used for trimming it is just a side effect of a certain mode. Under normal conditions - you trim it manually and this is well simulated.
  7. Yeah, I know it is a rather brute force work-around and it doesn't solve the problem of messed up FFB trim axis, but at least it seems to work with Su-25A/T until ED is able to solve the problem, otherwise I would be also totally grounded. I hope that it is a priority issue for them and it will be repaired in the closes auto-update as it prevents black shark pilots with FFB to fly it and there the trim is crucial.
  8. I was able to solve it this way - In FFB tune I checked swap axis tickbox and I have remapped my left trim button to trim right command and the right trim button to trim left command. This way it works, try it.
  9. it is happening with Su-25A and Su-25T too - so it probably affects all craft in DCSW (G940 owner). FFB axis don't correspond to real trim axis, basically preventing to fly with FFB.
  10. I have G-940 and the same problem with force feedback - aircraft constantly rolls left (Su-25A and Su-25T), I haven't tested it on others.
  11. I also recommend this cockpit for SU-25A: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=96829
  12. I think you do not understand it well. FC3 is not direct sequel to FC2, but rather implementation of FC-2 aircraft within DCS World with all benefits that DCS World brings for FC3 aircraft. In the end you get 8 new flyable DCSW aircraft including AFM Su-25A with high poly external model. I am not afraid that I pre-purchased the beta as I am confident that ED will iron out all the bugs (as it has been done with A-10C) and in the meantime I can fly fast movers and AFM Su-25A within DCS World and online.
  13. Su-25A has AFM as it has had it since Lockon FC1. It is a great aircraft to fly (I prefer it to the T-version). It has better flight characteristics and better power/weight ratio than the T-frog. Moreover no fancy HUD, just steam gauges - but the aircraft flies like a dream. In clean configuration it is very sporty and you can do some serious AFM acrobatics with it. You just have to be cautious not to exceed maximum speed as it accelerates really fast :)
  14. Thanks ED for releasing BETA version of FC3 for us instead of having to wait for the final release. We are finally able to enjoy all the goodies of DCS world in FC aircraft and for me mainly the Su-25s :)
  15. I hope that ED will be faster than us hitting 300 pages :)
  16. Any news here with progress with L-39? The thread has become too quiet.
  17. Please release it as a public beta at least - add features later through auto update.
  18. Let's see who is faster - 200 pages by community or ED with FC3 :) My bet goes on community :)
  19. two more weeks and its done.
  20. oh no, it is postponed indefinitely :( Let's head for 200 pages...
  21. It has to be tomorrow, or I'll smash my F5.
  22. oh no, no release today (so far)
  23. I have already worn F5 key out and we are still not there.
  24. That's correct, it is especially dangerous at low level when pilot isn't prepared, but it is modeled very well.
  25.
