This also causes a lot of trouble trying to trouble shoot problems with newb TARS users and their installs. AFIRC, once I am in pit I can still hear them, but they can't hear me. Ideal would be non-TARS user can be heard and can always hear as well, no matter what conditions - or a special PTT for WHISPER TO NON-TARS users in channel.

  5. Please read more about your expensive piece of hardware and make sure your firmware update and driver is latest. Notice you can add another detent on top of throttle range to allow for afterburner control if you ever need it (no afterburner on A-10C).

Just showing how similar jet looks like with high-wing configuration. It allows better general stability, also when carrying external weapons. I am really happy we are getting C-101, and I hope it will have AFM/PFM and two-seat capability too in coming expansions.
  7. High power laser range/designator overheats when kept continuously on (so especially during continuous guidance). It needs to cool off or else it will burn out sooner, it cool of rate depends on outside temperature, altitude, airspeed afir and how long it was operating since it was switched on. I believe it was somewhere in the manual since Su-25T first release in FC1. Correct me if I am wrong.
  8. I have landed gear up with Ka-50 in the field, it was jerking like crazy (in-cockpit head) and external view model.. shut down engines, thought it is some vibration, but is it not. Aircraft off and cold still kept jerking causing eye sickness. Singleplayer

  10. Do not use TARGET software but instead remap correctly only trimmer in-game and clean it up from all view commands. Test your throttle movements in pit on cold airplane, confirm you can achieve cut-off, idle, max positions - observe thottle moving inside pit and on controller debug view as you move your TM Warthog Throttles, there's a short for it. Test both L and R throttle. Tell us your results. Double check INVERTER and APU before starting engines. If you own TM HOTAS Warthog it is pretty much plug and play except stick TRIM control, which must be cleaned up from view commands. What is your version number?

  14. That is excellent news for us, but may I ask you to create a separate thread and describe what measures you guys take on servers to prevent issues when running such events. I will also speak with squad mates regarding us joining; are there still slots available for Flanker pilots, and how many?

  16. This sounds interesting, however in current state of multi-player code we had to suspend in 51st, the Georgian Incident campaign which basically had similar scale and setup as advertised above. I'd sign in my squad, but knowing it is not going to work without clients desyncs and AI troubles, what's the point?   21. Bridges comedy! Here comes my first. Ground vehicle cluster themselves on bridge's fences, stop moving, and no longer respond to new commands (set path). It is hilarious to watch. Lots of ED's physics comedy show to laugh at :) However it breaks most mission. This is on important west/east road. I have noticed most MP servers are running missions and that's where all AI's end up either on their pre-edited routes or moved by GCMD client. Coordinates on screenshot, version 1.2.8 DCSW.
  22. Quick fix for new 6DOF Su-33 cockpit with proper neck mod, edit user's Server.lua Just make Su-33 variables and values equal to Su-27. I also suggest to try my Server.lua and SnapViews.lua, customized for Su-33, Su-27, A-10C, Su-25T - they are already super sweet, test them FOV (zoom) is off on first pit load, after getting into your pit, reset view by pressing F1, KEYPAD 5, KEYPAD ENT or move your zoom-axis-slider on connected controller.   23. Reproduction: During start-up at Kutaisi I hear, wind 224 by 5m/s. (ATC/meteo gives to pilot where wind is coming from), however with weather briefing wind 224 by 5m/s AI ATC clears me to taxi and take-off from RWY08! Active RWY due to wind direction should be given RWY26. Wish1: Fix ATC logic, correct active RWY selection due to wind direction. Wish2: Allow player to ask ATC for a different RWY direction, both from ground and from air.
  24. Observed that navigation lights in general are very hard to see in all light conditions. Actually they fade out very quickly with distance from observer (?). Reproduction: Take P-51 as an example, turn navigation lights on, press F2 for external cam, then F3 so airplane flies by and away, and notice how quickly lights dissapear. This requires testing and checking of all lights in game for all airplanes (nav lights, position lights, strobes, taxi, landing lights. I have noticed that it does not help at all turning nav lights or strobe for another player to find me although he is looking in right direction. In RL I can see these for long distances because that's why they are there in first place. Can we have realistic aircraft exterior lights visibility in-game?
