Not necessarily, easy communication does not change anything in functionality of the radios, they still stay realistic. Easy comms just adds a script that dials in frequencies for you, and also lists frequencies next to selections on overlay radio menu. You still need to bring up overlay menu for right radiostation (mic switch up, right, down for VHF AM, UHF, VHF FM. Campaign JTAC uses VHF FM. Make sure it is powered on and frequency dialed in manually by you, if you do not prefer to dial them quickly with "easy comm"

Towsim, thanks, alright, will send these logs and will retry after new year's eve with new version as I am leaving today for holiday break. Wishing all the best to all of you.

All installed correctly, double checked all files in place with manual installation guide, and Windows registry entries inserted, yet Aries interface does not render while pit is loaded and I am reported as 'off game' to other clients. I have 3 monitor set up, running borderless window mode on primary at its full res, yet Aries, it doesn't pop up on any of them. TS plugin is running, exports reported as connected.

Good stuff, good choice on memory brand too!:robot: Would you add me to your friendlist in MWO? "shamandgg" I am still running maxed out MWO, no hick ups yet. Made upgrade to my flight PC too. It has been like 3.5years running now this setup at 4.4GHz+ OC settings! Amazing. Still completely stable fully loaded. Best build I have ever made! Just upgraded to 16GB RAM, I was lucky to find exactly same memory bones to fill up two free slots. Didn't even need to adjust anything, all powered up beautifully with same high OC settings. Check viewpoint controls, you can move it up or down or more, and save as new default too - for any plane.

I am trying to reactivate after latest patch and have this Helper Application has stopped working this thread saved me http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=130977 ...and fixed it by deleting license0 within registry, and running licensing app again from bin folder.

Voice Command & Speech Recognition Software
Shaman replied to jaqknife's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
VAC is good, could be better if UI got improved to quicken profiling processes. No idea how Voice Attacks works and how many features of VAC it has, it might be good too. Since I use VAC for years I got very accustomed to it, as much and yet only I use it in DCS World as PTT assigned to Warthog Mic Switch to talk through VAC engine to AIs via chosen radio, this includes ground ops, even rearming or checking score board and brefing. (Warthog's mic switch press-in feature was unused even on A-10C so I emulate it as F15 keyboard button with Autohotkey and link that F15 as PTT in VAC) remaining configuration if you're interested: (mic switch up brings VHF AM and captures voice as PTT to Overlord's Allied channel on <51>TS3, mic sw down brings VHF FM radio and acts as PTT to all allied channels, mic sw right brings UHF radio and is PTT to assigned flight channel on TS3, and left is PTT for TS3 current channel). I happened to try but do not use it to operate my pit as I find it akward and not safe in heat of battle, especially while you are doing lots of brevity on any frequency, to AIs, and then you have to talk to your plane do bring sights up.. not an F-35 fan here, A-10 philosophy for the record is better, aka push these buttons ;) -
Hi Alexej21, appreciate your feedback, I am working on new set of scenario for latest DCS release. I will make sure all freq. are well thought through and briefed. I assume you fly A-10C mostly?

Su-27 Open-Beta chit-chat and first impressions!
Shaman replied to JulienBlanc's topic in Su-27 for DCS World
I just wish to post my first impression. I know Flanker has issues but TBH: I have never had so much smile on my face from Flanker flight model update since Flanker 2.03 patch! Now Flanker PFM made me put aside Super Bug for a while :P -
http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=133344 yep, just try to get leveled and trimmed, and engage Attitude hold, see what happens ;)

We love you Peter Good stuff man! Keyboard Flying FTW!

Ironhand! Good to see you again around! Enjoy Flanker :)

There was this cool server around DCS Belgium, haven't seen it lately, but if you spot it, go for it. Otherwise feel free and welcomed to check <51>Server and give us your feedback. I am now casually working on next realistic scenario for our server, ME is so time consuming...

Reworked Cockpit Views with proper Neck
Shaman replied to PeterP's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Works perfect with new Flanker PFM. I have tweaked original viewpoint for this mod. Notice in Vid how natural distances are and overall cockpit and outside perception. Files for you attached. View.rar -

Reworked Cockpit Views with proper Neck
Shaman replied to PeterP's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Yes, and that subtle change makes all the difference. It's crazy to convince people who never tried it how well it works, has to be tried with TIR. -
True multichannel sound engine with hardware sound cards support for EAX and such... missing out in so many titles nowadays... hardware audio... Imagine change of sound environment just as you taxi your A-10C out with cockpit open through gates of bunker hangar.

That is correct, Iku64, same reason why I keep this mod installed. -

Anyone wants to setup and test TARS seriously considering coop flight in Warthog, Pm me. -
Same observation as you guys I did here. I own 4 MFD Cougar bezels and yet I can't notice flickering as I do on Warthog, but oh well, pumped up brightness for fancy green glow in my own nerd pit and I just don't look at it while I'm flying anyway. Blindly catch all controls anyways. It is a cosmetic bug certainly to some people who perceive annoyance from it, I was annoyed too at first I seen it, but not a controller issue.

Well, you can race in P-51D, can't you?
