I have never seen this game as P2W. Having brake currently due to more real life stuff but yeah, still liking it, although bored with current game modes.

No, I only mean that source data shall be open for community to update as data on maps are changed by ED or new maps are released, because I don't believe devs can track all changes for aeronautical data as DCS continues. Naturally current real world navigation source can't be applied obviously. What is expected that either devs update aeronautical data themselves to match as simulation progresses with patches and addons or let community do it. I suppose ED tries to keep current charts in PDF format in our game install, and updates them with patches, thus this is our primary source for charts. I donated for DCS Manager but never seen updates. I'll be happy to pay for a good app that is supported

Aerodromes charts in DCS Manager on Google Store for apps has outdated charts that do not match current DCS data. We need new project that has proper aeronautical updated as DCS evolves.

Your post is rude and can be interpreted. I have worked on NATO radio station in ground-air communication for almost a year. I find TARS voice quality coming through just as audio realistic as any radio I operated. Now I am licensed radio amateur and own AM and FM station. I don't get your point with Tom Cruise or purpose of your reply beside trolling mod-vs-mod discussion.

I really like how TARS sounds in game, it's absolutely great for me. I will also try mentioned alternative software also for this purpose, but after I return from vacations. I am running multi screen with primary screen with DCS at screen's max resolution but in windowed borderless render mode. Thus TS3 works on 2nd screen (7inch touchscreen) and I am always in control. I could drop any additional window to 3rd touchscreen that is actually dedicated for HELIOS and radio functions. Uh NVM.. I believe it is not a good idea to discourage TARS development because there happen to be similar software used by community. Variety and competition is a good thing.

Let me know what you find out, I have used Xfire myself many moons ago. If not request them to add DCS World! Their team works really hard to add all games, I suppose no one requested DCSW from them yet. Some people don't know, but great thing about Xfire it was "out-of-DRM experience ala Steam", and you could see what your friends are playing and join directly to their servers. Also, if game was "full-screen" only, you could still bring it on top and chat. Since Xfire inception in 2003 it still is being developed and has over 20milion users and over 2000 games supported. Although it was never really a lobby dedicated for flight sims I believe, it did list DCS:BS1 http://social.xfire.com/games/dcsbs

Thanks just tried that video recorder. 5min of full HD is 2GB. Regarding your "parachute bug". I did not spot this bug, I had my parachute replaced after landing and picking up fuel. I think this is why "ground crew said rearming completed" after "refueling complete" although they were not requested to add anything under weapon pylons. Or maybe because I have also requested "repair".
