  1. Interesting. So we should ignore the GUI manaul entry regarding 512x512 images? 1024x1024 will work ok it seems? I'm assuming that ED stipulated 512x512 to keep the mission file size down which is ironic when considering the mission truncating save system currently in force. 'T'
  2. Yes. It's 512x512, which would normally be fine for a mission briefing page, but in MP the graphic is scaled dependant on the resolution making the briefing pages, particularly graphics look like something straight off a neo-geo! Personally, I'd like to see this stop and the pic remain at 512x512, (which it does for SP) or for bigger graphic sizes. This may well prevent extra work by those of us who run VFS's, by having to make mission briefings on our sites, for those of us that do..............................which ironically seems to be a dying practice. Please ED. stop the scaling. Regards 'T'
  3. You're after what is referred to as a FMT - full motion trainer. Forget it. Unless of course you Join the NG, have an IQ of about 170, can do TSD in nanoseconds and was one of the brainy kids that was bullied at school. I jest of course, but this sort of hardware is not available commercially. and before im trumped by a smartass, i`ll add that brilliant get out clause - 'IMHO'. :smilewink: No...........stick with what you can get commercially. money is the only barrier for a really good pit system. 180 degree curved screen or even dome, commissioned hardware etc etc. we can all dream. Personally, i quite 'like' my wife and kids, they're not bad once you get used to them. Happy Christmas. 'T'
  4. I'll teach you all you would want to know, all you could ever know and it'll cost you zilch. and.,..................you can do it from the comfort of your own home. Your immersion in relation to your hardware is your business, but travelling half way around the world to then give up an extortionate amount of money for a limited time, is er.....................not only 'not' sensible, but pure madness. like i said.......................for 'zilch'. If however, you wanna pay me 600$, well, .................................................................................. Just my tuppence, but an interesting thought nonetheless. 'T'
  5. Very good point. should have added IMHO - as ever Eno - Wise. Regards 'T'
  6. DMZ definitely solves the UDP port changes and packet switches, but a ridiculous 'have to have' in my opinion. tut tut ED. However, needs must n all that - DMZ it is. We have tested extensively 7570 and specifically scenes, CTD's cliet disconnects etc. DMZ will prevent Client disco's. The next patch resolves all of these issues. 'T'
  7. It's a specific tile issue. Those specs are fine. 'T'
  8. Yep got it, Thanks Gav 'T'
  9. appcrash 7570 and preload optimisations fixed in this? no mention. 'Brilliant' list though. So many bugs..................who knew!
  10. Erich. You should pop along to one of my open workshops sometime. look out for them. ;-) Regards 'T'
  11. Go to...your saved games directory, into Multiplayer and inside will be all the trk files DTG related. Simply drag the latest one into your tracks directory and load up.
  12. Good grief, you just cant help some people.
  13. See above.
  14. thanks speed, thats an awesome facility. Perhaps SLMod will be coming to LYNX after all! Regards 'T'
  15. Use center trimmer mode. The trim is perfectly fine in the shark and i can still make her do things that she shouldnt be able to do. the same shortly after she was released. Take a look at your curvature and your deadzones. unplug, replug, calibrate if neccessary. Failing that, come along and pay us a visit tomorrow night on our TS about 2000 UK time. i'll fix it for ya. 16. er....................................... White Spirits?? :music_whistling:
  17. use a solvent based liquid. Sounds like the previous owner was either an axe murderer or taped the grip up. White spirits will get anything off. 'T'
  18. Quite. And ensuring that those modules already realeased receive adequate attention for dev and bug fixing, until such times they can be labelled as RC's. I agree with you Crunch, that ED are doing what they need to do to make money. Should it be officially announced on here, then it's probably fair to say that they will receive support, we all know the quality of their products, if a little lax on customer support. Fairplay ED. Do what you need to do to stay competitive and in the market, but try not to foget the rest of us. 'T'
  19. http://www.74thvirtual.co.uk/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=1054 everything you need. ;-) 'T'
