Well I made the jump for better rudder pedals and got the TM TPR’s I already have the latest Thrustmaster Wathog Hotas drivers and was wondering if I have to do a reinstall to add the TPR pedals on board.

Performance reminds me of when the super carrier came out, it was awesome but the performance was lacking as well as Syria. The congestion is like having an asthma attack. But I sure do appreciate the free map and the shoreline and reef is spectacular ! I hope it smoothes out in time.

That is weird. I think so far that the 471.11 NV Driver is the best one that I have installed it seems like its alot smoother than the past few. Do you have your textures in NVidia CP on performance? I wonder if that would of help along with a GSYN setting. I tried to enable HAGS the other day and man it ran funky so I disabled it again, I thought maybe with the last few Windows updates that it could help in any way but it didn't. But hey if that drivers works ... fly with it !

Disregard … lol ! I just noticed this. I usually don’t look around in there But yeah missing nose cone and canopy haha ! Not a big deal tho for me as I don’t spend to much time in the hanger.

Yikes ! Not an issue on my side as of yesterday evening.

I bought the Tomcat last year for about $55 and it’s worth very penny. But save and think about because right it doesn’t work properly and ain’t worth the money. It’s not Heatblurs fault and hopeful E D will get it fixed. But it is the best mod in my opinion.

Have you tried just running everything stock? No overclocking or undervolting?

Are you flying the Tomcat ? If your freezing or crashing mostly likely it’s a Tomcat issue on E D side.

Yup these vroptican lenses are a way better fit for the G2 imho. Still I can not just slide the headset up I have to pull out alittle then lift up but they are great and I like how they SNAP in , the VRwaves don’t snap in like that. great product ! And fast fast to USA. ich liebe dich VRoptican!!!!

I wanted to practice the Hornet and Mavs the other day and noticed the Zoom level for the Flir and TGP was terrible. I think I may have missed some information about it what ahs changed. Before , a few months ago I was able to zoom in pretty good on the target. I usually practice with GazAce nail Moving Target mission. So they reduced the zoom level for the Hornet? Dang ! Why !

I have always thought that you have to run/log into Steam to use steamvr and WMR. The last couple of days I went this route by just plugging in my G2 then WMR starts up and then just opening up DCS and everything boots up and ready to fly. Not running Steam in the background or using the controllers. My settings are set so I don’t even run fpsvr and msi/af but will ever once in awhile.

Yes please ! Froze up multi times last in the middle of a bfm match. I don’t think it’s the mod/tomcat somethings missing or dumping something somewhere somehow in E D side similar to the crash issue that was repaired.

Yes that what I meant. I always thought or did , was sign in to the Steam account first. But it started giving me weird error codes so I went back to my regular way I guess.

I really didn’t know this but I just booted up DCS alone without logging into steam and didn’t have any monitoring tools running in the background because all my settings were performing really good especially with the NVidia 471.11 driver. It ran really smooth and I flew the Tomcat back to back about 4-5 times in a row without freezing up the sim. I’m not saying this is a fix but I always thought that you have to sign into Steam when using the G2. I had no stutters what so ever not a smudge. I really don’t need fpsvr at this time because all my settings and tweaks are solid but it felt like a smooth and steady 45fps. Anywho something new to me at least.

Question, So you say they click in nice but if I were to take them off do they come off fairly easy? Mine are on it's way and super excited to try them out.

Wait so is fpsvr considered gpu monitoring tool ? I always have that running with my G2.

I run Msi Afterburner in the background with no issues. Will test without it running this evening kinda makes sense.

Does window game mode have to be enable for the so called windows game fixes. I have it disabled from day one as I heard that’s the thing to do… disable it.

Yup that 471.11 driver is actually running great and smooth so much that I’m bumped my SteamVR SS to 100% from 80. Fantastic !

IronMike from HeatBlur said it was a E D issue on their side so patiently waiting. " Posted 11 hours ago ED is aware (so have we been), and has been working on a fix (and thought to have fixed it for the last patch) since before last patch. You will not see a changelog entry in our changelog for this if it gets fixed, because it is on DCS side, not ours. Why it concerns only the Tomcat (it concerned also other modules before ED's first fix), we do not know, but 100% is not on our side. Our apologies that it is still occurring, we hoped it would be gone with the last patch. "

Appreciated it IronMike, they told us weeks ago to bring the issue here to Heatblur so thats good to know now that it is E D's side and hopefully it gets fixed because it's so frustrating especially when its the best Mod in the hanger. Cheers !
