Some of this stuff is way over my head but I may have had both WMR running at the same time. How I start everything is 1. Power up G2 and then WMR boots up then I close it out. 2. Sign in to Steam then open up SteamVR beta, Fpsvr and WMR beta all boot up the same time. 3. Make adjustments in SteamVR settings and enable DCS. 4. launch DCS. I think what happened is that I had both WMR running. Every time I forget to close WMR after powering up the G2 I seem to get a crash.

Yes DCS was still running looking at the monitor, my hdm went directly in WMR room, never had that happen before. Thanks !

Actually mid fight, I was in a BFM server and fighting someone and all of a sudden in mid air I was booted off the scene and into WMR room. Any clue why ? Is there something I need to disable. thanks

Now I'm thinking about a set of contacts as my VRWAVE lenses are useless. When your playing BFM and have to lift the headset up to check things on monitor and keyboard peeks ect. , they just scrape my forehead and occasionally fall out, they also touch the bridge of my nose too, I just don't think its a good idea to press them back on the G2 lenses with force. It's just not for me I guess, so now I'm thinking a pair of contact lenses and I wonder if they just make a +225 readers. Back to some research.

Just curious are you hardwired in or wifi connection? maybe try WMR @ 60hz and as jon said SteamVR @48-50% closest to 2160x2160 - DSC visual @ low to medium. -

Good morning , Hey speed you mine sharing your overclock settings for your 3090 running at 2010mhz if you have the time. core clock memory clock at stock my 3090 is running @ 1920 which is the same my 2080 Super was running @ cc- 50 and mc - 350 I would like to see if there’s a difference with slightly higher speeds. I’m not that experience with overclocking. Thanks and have a great day

VR ? As Jef said, Zoom in "Slow" Zoom out "Slow" If your VR your limited to 2 zooms in the UI Layer under controls scroll to bottom.

Hello, I just got all the updates and notice it says No in nvidia system information and that I have to go in the sbios and turn it on. Lately I have mainly been flying VR so is this something I should just turn on just to have on or enabled. Is this mainly a gpu to monitor tool. Sorry for my lack of knowledge and to be honest I have never went in a system bios before... yikes

Hello, I got a new rig and put my Tacview on it but it's been awhile since I used it. I forgot how to enable the mouse right click and left click motion. I remember rt click would zoom in and LF click would move the map around .. I think or vice-versa. After downloading on new rig my mouse command don't do that. Any help? Thanks!

Cool ! Definitely update the bios before the Nvidia update driver.

With my new rig I first started out test it with overclock settings on both the cpu and mono/z490 and the rtx3090 it ran great but it would stress @5.1 ghz for a few seconds thermal limit stuff I guess. Tonight I tested it with no overclock on both cpu and gpu and it ran super good and very cool with no stress. The G2 disabling the HPET I’m getting almost zero stutters even merging with a Tomcat on multiplayer so something changed for the good. I’m gonna run no OC for a few days and hope I can stay there. This 3090 running at 1930MHz and cpu @4.8-4-9 GHz the G2 and DCS are getting along very well in a 3 hour fight.

Sorry but I’m not getting that problem. But I use to see fpsvr on my monitor next to steamvr setting but for some reason it does not show up now. Very weird. All smooth in the headset though.

No, I think that the problem is that I wasn't pushing it in hard enough. I may revisit and try it again. I got frustrated and put them back in the case. I just don't like the design really. The vroptician has a cuplike design that I think would be better for my taste. I should of did more research but I was to anxious to get a pair. 0.webp

I hey not done the disabling of the HPET yet. Seems pretty simple to do through your guide and may do this evening to see if there is a difference.

Wow ! Interesting but if you disable AWCC will it still run your overclock settings/Thermals? Not like I need too with my new R11 but I still have a R9 - i7-9700K w/ a 2080 super that was struggling with my G2. This R11 I have no problems at all with mostly everything on high settings.

Yes, the thing is you have to push kinda hard for the lense to stay on. And when you slide your headset up to look at keyboard the lense hit the front of my head. I just don’t like them and may try another brand like vroptian.

Hey speed of heat, I’m finally...finally getting around to setting everything up on my new rig. I finally was able to run your setting and directions and man ooooh man what a huge difference in this 3090 and my G2. I just need alittle bit of tweaking pre app and it will be looking just about perfect. Thanks for all your help and guidance.

Lol yeah didn’t know how to do that so I got alittle mad at myself so started over. A new rig and already messing up. hey thanks tho for the lesson.
