Just a request as I see that TM has updated their slew switch but I think if its possible that you can make the Comm Switch, that one gets used alot. My comm switch has a worn out forward position, I would be your first customer for sure, I already have your slew upgrade switch.

The trick is not to flip the headset up or at an angle when taking it off and putting it on It’s better to pull it forward and up or slide it on. But yeah gotta treat the G2 cable like an egg.

Awesome ! But I’m 2 years with rig and wanna get 2 more so I’ll be ready for the 6090ti and DCS 3.0. I’m locked at 45fps MR and high settings running oxr and it’s the best I’ve seen VR performance ever, well at least when I started, it just keeps getting better and better.

@dock999 - same here ! That was one of the big differences to me verses SVR. The Motion Repo is so stable now after the last OXRDT update to 12. It’s sooo damn smooth now. Marianna is no issues now.

A slight Frequency differnce on my end. With the last drivers 517.48 I was most at 1935 MHz and with the 522. 1890-1905 MHz and 2 degrees higher. Still having smooth perf though.

Rig tuning is what you need. VR runs absolutely perfect.

Yeah I’m looking for a replacement mic switch for mine also, the push down works fine but it’s the forward position that is about worn out as I use the forward quit often than the others.

Yeah I have and used Heaven Benchmark also but I was really just wondering why msi/af doesn’t show the monitoring display. I’m gonna do alittle tweaking this weekend I’m not really having any issues as far a temps/freq and perf but this tweaking stuff with numbers and performance is getting kinda fun really. Well edmuss, the other week I wanted to do some undervolting with my gpu while DCS was running and with my G2 off my head and looking and tweaking watching on the monitor kinda like benchmarking with DCS. Use to do it with steamvr with my other machine. Now the detached graph works but not monitoring display feature.

I have heard people renamed the DCS Saved game folder and letting DCS regenerate a new one and then moved inputs from old to new save game folder. Just a thought. And yes that would a pain to reinstall DCS for sure I had to do that once…. once and had to rebind everything again, what a hassle !

Any idea why msi afterburner display overlay doesn’t work with oxr? Like in the monitor vr window.

That’s actually what my Virpil cm2 center stick/base was doing and why I had strengthen my deck with brackets screwed to wall and adjust the cm2 spring tension so it wasn’t so sensitive everytime I would pitch forward and back with the R3L the Virpil was stealing my axis. DCS axis setting was confused of which axis is being used.

It’s not only the gpu you have to upgrade it’s the psu with the atx 3.0 thingy. I’ll be ready to upgrade when the Rtx 6000-7000 series and intel 17 gen hopefully DCS 3.0 will running on Vulcan. I’m not jumping on the new hardware train every year.

Hey Mark - just out of curiosity could bump up your pitch to like 4lbs and test. I think that smm menu is holding down the trigger + paddle and letting go of the stick for a few seconds.

I remember having issues with my G2 when I first got it. It worked better when I plugged it into a USB 3.2 Gen2 "Type-C" with a Data Transfer speed of 10Gbps " No power share " verses a USB Gen 1 with 5 Gbps with power share. At least it did on my rig. Never looked back.

Yeah fair enough I have heard a few that has had cable issues so yes maybe a hit miss kinda thing. I wish I had a bad experience so I can move on to the Varjo thats for sure.

Pretty cool on the new slew. I actually never had a problem with it and kinda like the nibble/low profile being hidden and not getting in the way or bulging out. I have the Delta sim mod but I haven’t replaced it. Would like to see how it looks as the TM website is not showing a pic of the new slew.

For VR you want the most gpu vram possible … I’d say 12gb and up. I heard the new NVidia 4000 series will have a 16gb card in the mix which will be great.

Try just starting DCS everything else should activate automatically. When I power up my G2 and wmr opens I shut it down then Just start DCS . If that doesn’t work the something else is wrong.

Exactly how my rig works too. Everything normal when idle but when I start DCS all profiles kick in to high performance mode across the board.
