  1. Just watched some YouTube videos on this module. Not something I would usually be interested in but looking at the effort gone into the flight model and the sounds that are incredible I am getting it. Can't wait.
  2. A comprehensive introduction to basic physics is needed here.
  3. Wow! This is looking fantastic! I'm still really enjoying the incredible Viggen and now this. Can't wait to buy it.
  4. Great tips. This is a quality module if not the best. I love the cold war feel of it all. Having a blast learning this.
  5. Yep I seem to have had a bit of a boost in fps. Oculus Rift.
  6. Yep, I ended up finding Jabbers video and it was a great help. For anyone who hasn't seen the video it also was a worth a watch simply to help lower FPS using VR. I followed some of the tips and increased my FPS by 10% or so. Great stuff thanks for all the help.
  7. Ok doesn't seem to be a way of doing that. What about making the VR output full screen? I know it's a mirror of what's in the headset but is there a way to get a full screen. I know alt-enter will do it but it's a lower stretched resolution.
  8. Hi, I'm trying to record in game VR. The software I am using records what's on my monitor. I don't want it to record the limited view of DCS when I have my headset on I want to minimise or hide that output so I can record the oculus mirror window. Does anyone know a way of hiding the DCS output? Thanks.
  9. Blimey please just ignore this guy. Clearly trolling now. 180knts lol
  10. Yep, even though I have tacview it would be a very nice feature if we could have this in DCS. Make it universal so veterans have the tools to discuss with nuggets debriefings etc. Very handy and more accessible to everyone. I would imagine this would be an extension of the track files.
  11. It looks like a Lighty!! :)
  12. In that picture on the top of this thread is that a light at the bottom of the fuel probe that comes on automatically when extended?

    Holy Cow!

    Holy Cow!
  14. Many thanks. Will give it a go after work.
  15. Much appreciated. This works really well. Could do with a little readout for the figure somewhere though. Perhaps put all development, patches and updates on hold untill this feature is added. Just a thought. :D
  16. Can anyone help me with the above? I want the carrier to steam on a heading of 090. Apart from just moving the waypoint circle roughly east I don't see anywhere where I can see the actual figure 090 in the mission editor? How do you guys do this? Many thanks.
  17. Bang on. Just walk the throttles ever so slightly.
  18. Rainmaker. He didn't kill anyone and broke no laws. Chill out man............shhhhhh.......chill!
  19. Brilliant videos. All of this has opened up a new chapter of knowledge I wasn't even aware of before. It's fascinating. Taking this old hobby of mine to another level. :)
  20. I've been practising this for a few hours this evening and I'm starting t nail it. So satisfying when you start to feel how to do it. Now I set myself up to refuel over a carrier and then I go for a case 1 recovery. I have to dump all that lovely fuel though to make the landing. Such a waste :)
  21. In the VR tab settings. IPD setting and a number input. Apologies not PD it's IPD.
  22. I have the pd set at 70. Anything under this makes the cockpit feel to big. I have never sat in the cockpit so have no idea if this right. Does anyone have anything vastly different?
  23. You should get it. This is a superb module. It's almost irrelevant to consider buying it based on dog-fighting. The simulation is ground breaking and if you have any interest in that you should be a part of it.
  24. Early EA. Let go of your despair. Bound to live with it..............free!
  25. I have been simming for well over 20 years. This is heaven for me. All my dreams come true. I can sit in an F/A-18C cockpit with VR, everything else is a bonus. Everything, I'm not scared to admit that when I got VR and I sat in the cockpit of a Spitfire, I had a tear in my eye. I'm at an age where I can't realistically do any of these things in real life but this is good and not only that I can do it at my own leisure and that's what's so good about it.
