You are absolutely right. It is for a mech setup but, there is one thing I have learned after joining the flight sim community.......... you guys can create and modify like noone else. I like the concept of the iControl... I just have one question. Being a Microsoft Surface owner I have to ask..... why is this on everything BUT windows?

I don't think this product actually exist but I like the concept. I could see this being adapted to "DCS" use.

Every person had to have their "introductory" phase to the online community. Never let anyone call you "that" player because at one time they were "that" player themselves. I have been playing online for years and when I hop into a new airframe I am "that" player. You are not alone.

I know a lot of you have been asking for a picture in picture Shkval. Copy the ONE MONITOR setup and copy paste this to the file using notepad ++. Go to monitors in the setup and choose PiP Shkval. I was playing a mission the other day with 1 other player. We were both flying Hueys. 2 of our targets were Ka-25 (not to be confused with Ka-52). It took a TON of bullets from my Huey to bring one of those down. Later we decided to have a helo..... "dogfight"..... and it took very little bullets to drop the Huey. I find it kind of hard to believe a Ka-25 would be that much tougher than a Huey. Is there some sort of issue with the damage model of "air" (I use that term loosely considering it's a Helo) units in DCS? Please note I usually fly Helo's so rarely if ever engage "air" units.

I you are able to approximate FC3 will you upload the settings?

I am embarrassed to say I never noticed that..... I would also like to add TrackIR on FC3 aircraft works perfectly, yet on DCS titles it is super SUPER shaky.

I do not see "saturation" as a setting. Can you tell me where to find that?

Same here. My other titles are stable.

We did what we could to help you so now.... do something for us. When/IF you do get the MIG think of this day, come back, and tell us if you were happy with your decision. Tell us anything you wish you would have done, researched, or checked. Hindsight being 20/20 and all that. Maybe that will help someone facing a similar conundrum in the future.

I also only have the F-86. It was a simple aircraft to learn (by DCS standards) and seems to be a solid performer. Learning bombing might take a bit........ If you really want to do a comparison I suggest you do a little bit of "YouTube" research. That way you can actually see how the pilot interacts with the airframes and see which one "fits" you more.

So no one wants to share their settings? :(

I use the TrackClip pro. I sit aboutt 3 feet away when adjusted for angle. I will try the suggestion of lowering the speed. Thank you.

I am using a TrackIR 4 with 5 software. I have issues clicking switches in the cockpit because I can't keep my view stable. After watching this super stable video (link included below) it is OBVIOUS I need some guidance in how to set up TrackIR. I will include the YouTube LINK and a track so you can see what I am talking about. No matter what settings I try I seem to have this issue. Can anyone with a STABLE view give me their setup. TrackIR Help.trk
