I understand that FC3 is owned by Ubisoft and has a bit of legal red tape around it. That being said is it possible to "plug in" a FC3 level helo to FC3 and the property still be owned solely by ED or a third party publisher. Here is a thought..... What if Ubisoft starts making FC3 aircraft again (through developers)? DCS Blackshark started as a FC3 add on. Is there a chance there is a FC1 or 2 (to be upgraded to 3) version tucked in a server somewhere? I wish the third party people (or ED) would consider making a FC3 level Ka50. I know I am not the only one that has requested this.

Is BS2 still kicking force feedback sticks to the side? Last time I played BS2 it was all but unflyable. I want to come back and play but this issue needs to be resolved.

BUGS BUGS BUGS (But None On The Windshield) I am having severe trouble trimming with my G940. Everytime I trim it kicks my stick to the left. And then there is this I hope ED gets rid of these bugs soon.

I know that MWS can be used in sim multiplayer. I have seen it before on a server while flying a KA50.

MWS stands for Missile Warning System. It is NOT functional.

I deleted all 1.2.1 and installed all new 1.2.2 I am using a G940 joystick and the Su25T and Ka50 are pulling to the left. The Ka50 is a real problem because when I trim it kicks my joystick to the left. All axis's have been checked. Calibration has been checked. Another problem I am having is when I run the repair option and it gets to the update part I get this failure.

Su25T is on the FC3 roster.

He was playing FSX SUBS17. You should know that.

The only reason I WOULD have bought FC3 is for the Su25T. You get that free in DCSW so why bother? Is the FC3 version of the Su25T going to be any different?

Is the Su25T in DCSW and FC3 going to be the same aircraft (in regards to updated HUD's, other cockpit systems, and cockpit artwork)? Are you flying with Force Feedback? Are you using a G940? I am absolutely sure that you are. It is late. I will come on later tommorrow and tell you what is going on if you confirm it is a Force Feedback stick and offer steps to minimize the problem.

Got any links to curved screens?

I swear those seats have American Airlines upholstery on them. I work for American (until December 7th anyway..... ever notice how December looks like Dismember..... anyway.....) so I am very familiar with that upholstery type. That does look cool of course but its VERY VERY Bulky (as well as expensive I am sure). What I want to know is when we are going to get curved screens. They may not be any cheaper but, they WOULD take up less room. I notice they do not put the price on the website... should we be scared? By the way the pic of the player beside the A.I. Co-Pilot..... Priceless.

I uninstalled DCS World 1.2.0 to install DCS 1.2.1. I am getting an error on installation. I:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\ParticleEffects\effects\DCSFire.lua An error occurred while trying to create a file in the destination directory: Data error (cyclic redundancy check) Click retry to try again, Ignore to skip this file (not recommended) or Abort to cancel installation. However I:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\ParticleEffects did not delete on the uninstall. If I try to delete it it says Cannot delete effects: The directory is not empty I can not drag it to the recycle bin either. If I try to access the ParticleEffects folder it says The disk in drive I is not formatted would you like to format The Disk in drive I IS formatted. How do I fix this???

Would anyone be interested in a FC3 version of a Black Shark Ka-50 or perhaps a third party version of one? I am just curious? Sorry choice 3 should read. I would like a newer DCS modle of the Ka-50 (Ka-50N, Ka-50SH) Anybody know how to edit polls?

EtherealN I think all ED customers who purchase DCS titles purchase them with the intent of entertainment (military version aside). Though many make the purchase, see how involved it is, then give up.

I am 35 years old and own DCS Blackshark (1/2), DCS A-10C, DCS P51, and Flaming Cliffs 2. I also enjoy playing HAWX. For you to imply only "kiddies" enjoy these types of games and only short attention span people play them is ridiculous. DCS and HAWX are just like any other game. They offer a unique experience. For those of you that offer the argument that DCS is a sim I offer this counterpoint, a lot of video software has been called a sim in the past. If you played those today you would not call them a sim anymore. You would call them a game. One day software and possibly hardware will advance enough that we will call DCS a "game". Examples of sims slipping into games Flight Simulator 1.0 compared to FSX Silent Hunter 1 compared to Silent Hunter 3 FC A-10A compared to FC A-10C At one time all of these were called simulators.

I will only buy if it includes a new airframe that I want. I would have only bought it for Su25T anyway. I do not look for this to happen but, I would love to see a FC version of the KA-50.

The issue seems to have resolved itself. I blame BitTorrent slowing down my internet connection for the issues.

Well I got it to load finally. Apparently I had my settings maxed out in SP. However now I had a new problem. Single player works fine. Multiplayer however does not seem to want to load the textures. Then after a bit it crashes. Any ideas? To clarify Single Player Works Great Multiplayer Does Not Load Cockpit Textures Then Crashes.

Just to confirm what your saying it is not enough to install a fresh copy of DCS World I have to install a fresh copy of BS2 and A10-C as well? Do I have to reinstall BS1 as well?

So I need to install all my modules again???
