As Crunch indicated, you were not using a simple compass, but the HSI. Probably you selected a beacon (VOR) that was on the opposite side of you and your targets (you yourself between targets and VOR), and the indication of your HSI confused you by that. See the HSI description in your handbook: "The Horizontal Situation Indicator (HSI) provides a top/down view of the aircraft in relation to the intended course. The compass rotates so that the current heading is always shown at the top. The Programmed Course Arrow shows the required heading to reach your route leg and the Next Waypoint pointer indicates the direction to your selected waypoint. I would say no. The different versions of LO and LO FC are not compatible, and a vanilla LO mission will not run (properly) in LO FC 1, if at all.

1. If you have finished your setup, make a recovery DVD with an image that you can import in the future - saves hours of work ;-) 2. Keep you Antivir software updated and don't DL and install crap software from the internet from sites that you don't know / can't trust. Your system was hacked for a reason.... 3. Set a restore point once you installed new software. If the installation fails, you can reverse it easily.

Das liegt an der Datenbank. Sie muesste mit dem Zeichensatz http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8859-1 Latin-1 kodiert sein, ist sie aber nicht. Da das Forum moeglicherweise eine einzige Datenbank fuer alle Unterforen nutzt, hat man wohl als Kompromiss auf die Kodierung nach Latin-1 verzichtet. Daher unser 'deutsches Problem'. Abhilfe: Schreibt Umlaute als ae, oe und ue, und nutzt die Vorschau (Preview) vor dem posten, dann klappt's mit der Lesbarkeit.

Da es wohl keinen Bedarf mehr fuer ein Spezialforum gibt, das sich mit der Weiterentwicklung von Mods und Skins fuer Lock-On/FC/DCS beschaeftigt, wurde mangels Aktivitaeten das Forum http://www.simmodders.org geschlossen. Have you tried to run it in compability mode (XP, Vista) ? Right klick on the exe and select under properties-> compabillity

Disable it ? HUD's are supposed to be as transparent as possible.
