  1. Moin Master, what was your altitude? Depending on the curvature of the earth and your own altitude, the aspect differs a lot. If you fligh low and scan 0 - 35, while your targets ar far, far away and flying high, they probably will be outside your search pattern.
  2. The answer is snippy, but simple - any newer card will do better. It depends on what you are able or willing to spend. I just bought myself a GTX 660 Ti for about 200 €. Both your cards (3870 and 4670) are OK for low settings. DCS like the older Flaming Cliffs is heavy on the CPU side. You should think about a hardware upgrade. Dual Core 4600+ is pretty outdated.
  3. Another good way to learn to handle the sim is joining one of the online wings or squads and train with them. You'll have human instructors guiding you step-by-step through the sim.
  4. Or support the IT companies and buy better (faster) hardware. When was your last HW upgrade?
  5. @Popcorn and XCrosser: http://www.icrc.org/applic/ihl/ihl.nsf/Article.xsp?action=openDocument&documentId=0E0BF3B27E4F4E8EC12563CD0051DB78 You should know this and act accordingly, even if it is only a simulation. It's a question of attitude and moral mindset.
  6. Just bought a new graphics card. Received a free game code for Metro:Last Light with it. I don't play such shooters an give the code away for free, just PM me. First come, first serve. EDIT: Code is gone.

  10. Did you test it? Will it work to have FC1 installed (LOMAC already de-installed then) and install FC2 or FC3 on it? Or do you still need the LOMAC installation as as prerequisite for installing any of the FC versions?
