  4. I noticed that the pitch of the MiG-29 engines spooling up sounds very unrealistic now, before it was better. Is there a way to fix that ? Sound like a Star Wars Arcade spaceships to me... And would it be possible to add an APU before the main engines spool up, the way it was done in DCS:BS ?

  6. I'm no Hog Flyer, but there seems to be a problem wiith the Mod in FC 2.0 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=862378#post862378 Guess it would be the same if I did it via ModMan.
  7. The MiG-29S spooling up sounds like an arcade space ship - ugly sound ... Like to have my old from FC 1.1 back. The sound files (ogg) are exactly the same, but the pitch emulation simulating the spool-up is crap. In-flight it is OK, except that all cockpit sounds are way too weak.
  8. Changing the affinity mask in the autoexec.cfg didn't make any difference for a single core CPU.

  14. Despite the server integrity check discussion, it is very interesting to check out which of the great FC 1.1 mods are still compatible to FC 2.0. I tried with a second ModMan 7.1.10 installation which I installed in a 'ModMan Fc 2.0' folder (might work with using only one ModMan installation, but I didn't want to shoot that...) 3. In the ModMan FC 2.0 folder, open the modman.ini in an editor. 4. Copy all files of YourDrive:\Programme\Lock On FC 2\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\bin\x86\stable into the main (root) directory of your new FC 2.0 directory, in this case YourDrive:\Programme\Lock On FC 2\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2 NOTE: The reason for this is, that ModMan tries to install a backup folder and the new addon-files (Bazar\...) into the original root directory path (where the launcher.exe is, YourDrive:\Programme\ModMan FC 2.0\addons_FC2.0bin\x86\stable). But the new addon files should be inserted into the YourDrive:\Programme\Lock On FC 2\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Bazar\World\.... path instead ! 6. Run ModMan. As third game from top, you will Find FC 2.0 listed in the games menu. It will ask you to guide it to the FC 2.0 ROOT directory. Guide it to YourDrive:\Programme\Lock On FC 2\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\ A new ModMan Registry.ini will be written. You now should be able to add the Addons to the list (or copy them into the YourDrive:\Programme\ModMan FC 2.0\addons_FC2.0 folder) as usual. Good luck with testing all the FC 1.1 Addons !

I'm asking all of you to contribute to that knowledge base, either with what you found out about FC 1.1 - 1.12b or FC 2.0.   18. Is there a way to record either FC 1.12b or FC2.0 (one at a time) ? I can direct TacView to either the FC 1.12b or the FC2.0 directory, but can not set both in the setup menu. Besides that, despite my TIR 4 recognizes FC.2.0 as 'Black Shark', pointing TaView to record FC 2.0 as 'Black Shark' didn't work. Do I have to manually add the 'dofile' line somewhere to a .lua in FC 2.0 ?

  24. AFAIK you need the basic Lock-On installation to run FC 2.0. You can have FC 1.12b (the present one) and FC 2.0 on your computer at the same time. The RUssian version is stand-alone and does not need Lock-On to be installed.
