10 for pitch and 15 for roll for me. Warthog just too sensitive to be zero for me and the stick is 7 years old, so it notch'es a tiny bit on center.

The hole boat revolves around you as an aviator, Do them great by doing it right :) Especially the guy at 47:28. So practice and get real good so that guy really feels that he is a vital part of a very large team. Also take with you that you by now know how to do a case 1 recovery and might be acing it...good job. What can I use this for in real life ?...well you can now do and control several different things at the same time :) Me: went to an airshow and tried a f-18 rhino sim ...a major asked "are u an aviator?" F18 MFD exports now work with a very quick tweak.

Also at 250 kts you get absolute maximum lift. I deploy gear flaps at 250 while still in the break turn and start to power back up. For me The biggest thing is to "get in front of the jet" Anticipation is the name of the game, so train a lot :) After your cleanup and on the downwind ...no more stick for lift control, it is all throttle and be quick about it :) You get behind the curve quickly, like 1 second too late on the power and you are now descending at -900 feet per minute. So if you don't have this down cold, you might doing one thing out of order and the whole thing snowballs. I just refused not to use stick for lift corrections and that left med very frustrated ;) Had a weird real life momont playing the guitar....My brain told me "it feels wrong" but it sounded correct...So had to teach myself that the feeling was correct. So practice practice practice and practice some more :) -
Yep early access. I can take off from cat position trim 0 and without cat launch in a light jet. Trim 16 right know seem to really jerk the jet. I can land on the boat by going hard aoa 20 over the wires and not brake the jet. So early access ;)

Agree :) When the A-10c game out, you had a ton to learn in all areas :)

for me it looks like a problem was in the config folder ...so I let the game make a new folder and move over the controls and missions and tracks.

Still dcs will not start on the old driver 391,01...so have a different problem.

We all have the same nvidia driver :( version:398.11 Me thinks it is not talking well with dcs. Anybody running this driver with no issues ?

It it the barometric number and flashing I guess is an alert for a mismatch. If the flight computer has a trans alt setting, that might be it. In the b737 fmc u can set a trans alt and system will remind you if not not correctly.

First up 3 words DAMN NICE WORK! Been away from this pression flying for awhile (2 years ish) Now combine that with boat and air refuel and airliner energy management flying ...and not 18 no more...hehehe. But good fun getting back in business and realising the lack of skill. Well if it is too easy it is not worth doing ;) Been waiting too long for this scenario, 10 years but it is worth it. The pilots this sim has produced...wauw, future drone fleet is in safe hands thx to the sim makers ;) Thx and keep up the excellent work :)

Already getting comfortable looking all the right places. She is super stable, formation fun stuff coming up :) 18 F-18 hornet in formation (maybe the Reapers should be contacted for this endeavour :) ) -
Hi :) Like a lot of you.. when I saw the blackshark module and on jet side the A-10C..I went "uhh make a fast jet"..:) So what did I have back in the day ..Falcon 4.0 for fast jets and fsx for a good navigation and planning tool. Falcon 4.0 tord me the hole tactical side of fast jets and combat, the joy was that it was mostly done in multiplayer. Il-2 tord me how to fly a plane as the fast jets like a f-16(Falcon4.0) will teach you nothing about flying. To me fast jest are 80% weapons platform and 20% flying. Then This F-18 module goes along and tells me to fly again. A lot of folks are missing a lot of features but I must admit getting the chance to ease in at early access is for me a good thing, why ? one thing at a time will make you better. Think first day on a new job ...completely overwhelmed and thinking "never gonna get this" 3 months later you are a pro ;) So for me, since it is a navi jet and trapping is just where the balls are ...period ;) If you can't land in any shape or form ..what is the point ;) Danish military is weighing this very high before sending the young pilots on the road for further pilot training. "You fly like a boss but your landings are not up to scratch....next" So back to the f-18. So far .....different and having being away from fast jets for far too long, steep learning curve but not impossible. If you think "oh frag ..I have to trap to make it" Then the F-18 is not for you. So far good going and the early release is not perfect but we get a chance and can make inputs now, And I think DCS team knew or knows that this module is a cornerstone in their work. So before we all "continue" to flame that the bolts on the left side are misaligned ... ;). Most of us consumers would have been giving up a long time ago "frag it you ungrateful sods :)) So kudos to the team. Final note ..what is the biggest thing for me right now....MANAGE THE FRAGGIN SPEED YOU IDIOT, ok got it and will try ;) peace :)
