Once Each build has their own Saved Games/ Folder Setup, you can run the /Bin/dcs_updater.exe w/ command lines to change from Release to Open beta or Open Alpha, and different versions.

Even the F-16 is classified. Remember the overall tech might be simple, but all software is very advanced and highly secret. So ED might come very close but will never know it. Also a lot of real world parameters cannot be made into a game. And the closer we get the more the gamer will be pissed of, that his plane or weapon/sensor is not working. So going to be a healthy mix of guesses, data and business perspectives. Want the real deal ..you need to become a fighterpilot and the first one that goes "screw this shit and become a fighter pilot" look me up for a case of beer :) Casual gamer statement :)

Also is you use trackir keep em on full or off. Reason is that they interfere with the zoom and can cause flicker. Tbh I didn't belive it until i changed to full- no flicker

Now you need to work on a nickname they can say over the radio -- godsprototype is too long -- god is too funny and cocky -- godspro might work -- gp -- Gpro -- proto -- and so on...have a think. Either way welcome to online flying. :)

Reinstall is your friend. In the time frame you have spent now, you could have reinstalled many times :)

I really wish dcs would do something about their update name ...how many posts on people being rightfully confused ??? whatever happend to 1-2-3-4-5-6 etc.. All these inhouse patch numbers going straight to the consumer is a fail :)

Part of this excellent discussion is just silly. Just a question... With the different settings, what changes ? 1. Is it the speed of data transferred ? or 2. Is there a also change in what data or packet size that gets sent ? If 1. then could it be possible to have some sort of auto detection of the capability ?
