Actually, I was correct. The bug has been present for quite some time now and it hasn't been fixed yet (judging by the so far released public patches). You making it priority only now doesn't really change this fact. It's been there for quite a while no matter how you look at it and what the reasons for it being ever so present are.

^^It doesn't "feel" like a bug, It IS a bug. There's no "getting it right" just trying to make the bug work in your favour and while it may do the trick..it's not how it's supposed to be. Unless ED confirms this actually is not a bug but an intended feature..but I don't think that's the case.

It's a bug and I don't wish to adjust to it. It needs fixing. Sadly, it doesn't seem to be on the priority list as it's been around for a while.

I highly doubt that. You don't make practical jokes in the situation like that, especially being a student. I guess you can but at a very high cost..

BTW, here comes a question: Is R-27R IRL more efficient in Su-27 then in Mig29(A/S) due to better (more powerful) radar employed by Su-27? Does it make a difference?

It's a bug and it's there. You can land nice and easy and good speed and suddenly sink into the runway. That needed to be fixed long time ago.

That may work but it's not how you're supposed to land the Eagle..sim or RL. I don't think 130kts can pass as a landing speed even on fumes and zero payload..but I'll let someone else more knowledgable confirm/dispute this.

Yup..makes you wonder how obvious bugs like these make it into offical patches..

2 things: 1. As long as the price of these separate F15C and Su27 modules is fair, I'll buy both, just to be able to land normally using AFM. :D 2. Please don't call these "DCS" if they're not going to be at the same level of detail like A10C and Shark. It'll just confuse people and water down the true meaning of "DCS" in a title. Maybe they should be called "Flaming Cliffs 3: F-15C / Su27"? Just a thought.

DCS Su-27 and DCS F-15 kinda make sense. Have you noticed how detailed those 6DOF cockpits in FC3 are? Connect the dots.. :)

The landing bug is still present in the final release? I haven't noticed this with Su27 though..

Apparently, there are some known issues with Su27 framerate but the problem you're describing might be caused by either a faulty installation or perhaps your PC is underpeforming? What is your config?

Thanks for the info! I was just about to do the whole reinstall thinking it's something on my end.

I went into one of the SU27 Free Flight missions (I created during 1.2.3 version) and the framerate drop was noticable all the time + stutters.. Anyone has the same problem or is it something on my end? Thanks.
