People mainly fly F-16s, F-15s, hornets, harriers, Su-27s and MiG-29s, not F-5s or MiG-21s. That's, of course, if they have a choice

Подскажите, после посадки с включенным автопилотом по курсу временами после взлета вертолет начинает крутить вокруг своей оси аналогично вращению при вихревом кольце рулевого винта. Проблема решается пересаживанием на место стрелка, после чего умный ИИ исправляет мои мудрые потуги управления и дальше лететь можно нормально. Вопрос - как выйти из такого состояния вращения и как в него не попадать в принципе

Well, that was painful. Interestingly enough, you're not the only one who calls these missiles in such a wierd way. IT'S like calling Aim-120C smt like Cam-120i R-27ER or R-27ET. R-27ER1 is a worsened export version of R-27ER, same with ET1. R-77-1 is a missile for RuAF, export version is called RVV-SD.

In the 80s F-16 had no datalink, as well as F-15 and F-18 IIRC. So nope, not really. (AIM-7>R-27R) Well, eh, hell no. I mean, Aim-7MH might be better against a slow bomber, but not a fighter. Furthermore, MiG-29 was designed to have the same DL as Su-27, but by the time USSR collapsed none were equipped with it. Anyway, you can find a switch TAKT on top of the screen in MiGs cockpit, funnily enough, according to the cockpit the DL should be switched on.

MiG-29 is capable of showing which target flies faster and which slower. But not in DCS. There also was MiG-25, Tu-128, yak-28 and other planes with pretty descent range Bullscheiss, sorry. Pilots ejected by themselves, ground commands were recomendations at best as only pilot decided wether to eject or not. Yea, you can say that CGI could order to eject, but final decision was always taken by the pilot. In fact, on many occasions pilots didn't obey "orders" as they wanted to save the plane

Nope, it was designed to be produced in proportion 2 to 1 compared to Su-27. Just like F-16 and F-15 Welp, just like F-16A - it's an 80s plane. IRL performance against the ground is better than what we have in DCS. Do you really think that western pilots fly whatever routes they want?

Su-35 has a powerful radar and comparable missiles. It can notch the target while still tracking it with its own radar. In addition to a powerful OLS-35, it has 360° IR missile detector which is of course capable of detecting planes. So i doubt there's any 4th gen fighter matcing Su-35s' overall capabilities
