I was just referring to the fact that people are less eager to buy inferior versions of planes. And even though your statement that 109Gs would open a vast amount of opportunities in terms of recreating historical events or just making non-44/45 year missions is correct, the fact is - most would want to fly a superior version, kurfurst, and firstly buy it and only after that question themselves whether they really need an interesting but a bit less capable aircraft and does this additional less capable plane really cost the money.
Don't get me wrong, most of DCS players would love to have an extra 109. But not for another 30 bucks
