  1. With a modern carrier you just need to punch some holes in the landing area, then it is a mission kill for the vessel and in need for a refit, a MIRV or in this case MaRV will have extrene kinetic energy so there should be no problem, also the story about the space shuttle only doing Mach 1 in orbit, that would kind of shrink the earth since it does one orbit in about 90 minutes. there is another thread on this and Skater does quote some disturbing figures for the AEGIS ships and not very flattering, from under crewed to under maintained, and at least 4 not servicable. plus on top of that the SM-3 is not ready for IOC yet. 2. First to spot stuff, be slow and methodical, exploit terrain to sneak up on your objectives, and take your time, do't use the obvious approach route. Regarding if you can see the tracers coming at you, in Ed Macyøs book Hellfire he describes seeing the 23mm tracers reaching out and him taking action accordingly. Staffan
  3. Viper where did you get that baby photo of me? Staffan
  4. No need my friend just send it to me I'll know what to do with it!! Staffan
  5. Yeah you're invisible GA! Staffan
  6. on the 10th of August 1510 the danish Navy comissioned the first captain in the fleet thus coming into being as the entity it is even today, it has gone quite a way since then even being the worlds largest and most powerful fleet, through the all time low when the Royal navy seized most the ships of the line in 1807, to the very modern internationally focused entity we have today with very modern and exrtremely capable ships. The birthday will be celebrated this week in the port of Copenhagen, complete with open ships the coming friday and saturday, leading up to DANEX 10 from the 16th of August until the 27th og August. 8. Maybe too much iron in my food.....! Better iron than plastic my friend! Staffan

  10. Guess that depends on size of said "joystick" my friend! Staffan
Staffan
  12. Berserkers. Flying Viking, Scandinavian Air Pirates, Norse Air! Just from the top of my head
  13. Man embarrassing to not have ssen this thread, another dane reporting in. The idea o´f the united berserkers is kinda nice, could rekindle the idea of brit, french, german, baltic, southern european, and native american bashing, just like the "good old days" Staffan
  14. Thanks Ediie, knew about the Warthog (One of the reasons for ordering it... just waiting for its release) good to hear about the MFD's that will be brilliant... Staffan
  15. If you could answer this I'd be happy as a clam: do you use the MFD's to simulate that, tyhe MFD's so that you don't have to rely on mouse and mouse clicks when configuring items and doing switchology? Staffan
  16. All my USB hubs are powered, gives that extra edge. Staffan
  17. I don't think ED should spend time getting DCS: A-10C to work with FC 2, if you want to fly A-10's there an ok A-10A play with that, I'd much rather see energy being spend on the next DCS title, and having seen a short glimpse of the new F-15C (Thanks GA) One could hope that there was a DCS: Pale Eagle in the works... Pure speculation but GGT would like it! Staffan
  18. Alredy made sure that the power for the USB Hubs don't disconnect, got two up and running and have three more lying around (What can I say the store my wife worked in got a load of them, Pleomax, once and I got 5....) I hate loosing my Track IR so I don't let the PC turn off their power. Staffan
  19. Yeah I agree on that, but I haven't heard about them being sold seperatly... Now I'm just waiting for that pesky TM Warthog stick... Nothing beats having a wife that shares your hobbies.... Except for when she naps a model from ones stash and actually *Urk*... starts building it. Staffan
  20. Nah it would be him his entire army corps, against... Yaeh well GGTharos, who cares about theater defense when you have the chance to maul Tharos!! Staffan
  21. He already mentiioned that abomination in the post. Staffan
  22. http://www.amazon.com/MFD-Cougar-Multifunctional-Cockpit-Panel/dp/B002NUD40S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1280867609&sr=8-1 There should be two in the pack, I have never heard about them being sold seperately. Just for comparison, here's the one from Amazon.co.uk I ordered http://www.amazon.co.uk/Thrustmaster-Replica-Force-Cougar-Flight/dp/B002HH9TRY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1280867713&sr=1-1 Staffan
  23. Hungarojet, what is wrong with the Mi-24 in DCS as of now? just asking because I like the model and can't really find any issues with it Staffan
  24. I'm using the game to set them up, I prefer it that way... And yeah they are bloody brilliant. Staffan
  25. It contained a set of Cougar MFD's, have been experimenting with them in BS and so far I really like them... Looking forward to trying them in DCS: Warthog. Staffan
