An M829 series round to a helo will ruin its day just as well and you reach out faster with that, have done that in SB Pro a few times, nothing like seeing a Helo pop up at 2000 meters then reach out and say "HELLOOOO" But, better to avopid helos all together. or let the zoomies deal with them.

Simple, the socket 1156 I had is a dead socket, needed more oomph and the mainboard were propably not in the best state, heat damage from the GPU

Just need the graphics card now, put it all together friday no issues, was my first DIY build, was good fun and fairly simple... considering changing care next year since the cable possibilities are limited not exactly good possibilities with cleaning up the inside.case is the CM 890 not exactly state of the art today but that will have to wait untill the new year. from an i5 750 to a new socket 2011 i7 3820, motherboard is the MSI X79A-GD45 (8D) 8 gigs of Corsair Vengeance RAM, a Cooler Master Hyper 412S CPU fan, and I ordered an EVGA GeForce 660 Ti card (old one is a Radeon 5770 so should see a huge improvement graphics wise). everything set me back about the equiv of $1000 here. from my recollection, the T-90 does have weaker armour than the T-80U yes newer tank but still cheaper than the T-80U series, more reliance on the jammers (Mounted on each side of the main gun tube)

One could do what has been done in modelling societies in Germany for years, remove the bent arms and leave an X on the fin. If offcourse that would be allowed by ED, since that would not be a swastika. Staffan

Helicopters even the heavily armoured ones like the Mi-24 and Apache are lightly armoured compared to vehicles. most of the apache is only armoured by Kevlar matting, the exception is the vital areas, on the Apache even the rotorblades are stressed to survive (Not withstand) 23mm HE impacts. from what I have heard, and remember this is orally, the KA-50 is better armoured in certain places like the cockpit area. Most of the skin of helicopters are aluminium, and that offers the same protection as a motivated strand of grass at combat ranges. the best defense against damage in a helicopter is the range of the weapons and stealth. Well front is a Gato or Balao fleet submarine, behind are CG's just about 10.000 tons of difference and at least a generation aswell, the Gato/Balao is a WW II boat and the cruisers are cold war missile shooters. still a sad sight to see the mothballed vessels, but evolution is a neverending story in the naval arms race. And we need a DDG-51 class ship for the series! Staffan
