I'll call this a very fair price, cheaper than most other games here in Denmark, even with my work discount this game from ED at full price is cheaper than, for example Spore og GTA IV and I get a 33,3% discount! The price is set for the western market, and to be quite fair we do have more money in our greedy little hands than most russians... hell our wall practically crap money! ;) Staffan

Having had the game for a few days now, I have to chime in here... Fantastic work ED this brings combat simulations to an entirely new level. This is turning into an instant classic IMHO. Staffan

I would guess that it is the resolution for the Skhval and Abris, not sure but that is what I would suspect. Staffan

The Mi 24 has a similar system on its tailboom, I think it is the radar altimeter (that is the radar, not the instrument). Staffan

I don't think any release date for the demo will be coming out, My guess it will be released when it's good and ready and not a second before Staffan

I can understand the decision, it is the only sane business minded way of getting the game out. I would fear loosing some sales if I was ED. Still nuff said about that. I will be studying manuals as they get released, and I have my hands full getting a store ready for the x-mas shopping Staffan

Wags did mention that ED would offer russian version for download on or soon after the 17th, so me and many here think it will be available, still it wouldn't be the first time I was wrong Staffan
