or the Server maybe? -
Excellent work. Thanks Razbam team!

I thought I did. I will try again. Thanks!

Once again thank you for your add-on. One comment: It seems that the Syria map is not reflecting the latest one available in DCS (i.e including whole Cyprus)

My "FLAP Switch - Cycle" key bind have a strange behaviour
diamond26 replied to gbechtinger's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
The problem with this is that even with cold start where you change manually flaps from full to half the binding is still not working -

I have the same behavior without the complexity of your setup. Single binding which doesn’t work unless there is manual intervention with mouse. -
Opencomposite is not working anymore with 2.7.7. Skatezilla's app is fine for me.

I wonder if any of you having this FPS dropping issue is using Tacview? I use it and I've read that it may negatively impact FPS. I will try next time without it to see if there is any difference.

FPS drops in multi-player, takes long to recover
diamond26 replied to dutchili's topic in Game Performance Bugs
What exactly you mean by taking off the VR headset? -
The higher the settings and the environment the easier for the system to struggle. I’m not sure if a 30 series card with 12 or 24 Gb VRAM will have similar behavior after a while
-
I face similar issues and I thought it was because of the 6GB VRAM of my poor RTX2060, but seeing that with an RTX3060ti, I think the issue is with the implementation of the Quest2 Link. It seems that the compression - decompression activity gets too busy in MP scenarios and after a while the system cannot cope with it. VRAM usage is always 100% from the beginning in both SP and MP scenarios but only in MP the FPS drop is so significant.

Oculus Quest 2 or HP G2, new future user here.
diamond26 replied to -SkyRaider-'s topic in Virtual Reality
I have the Q2 and use it with an RTX 2060. For the money I paid for it (half of what a G2 costs) I'm really happy with the result. (Add on cable was only 15 euros, no need to spend more) Of course you have to lower your settings in DCS but that it's true for every headset that has to work with an old GPU. On top you get a very good standalone VR headest for other activities/games. -
VKB T-Rudder Pedals - Review
diamond26 replied to rrohde's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
So I'm on the verge of buying these and wonder how difficult it will be to use this "virtual toe brakes" VKB mentions in their page. I fly mostly modern jets but have Warbirds and helos and want to spent more time with them too. Right now I only have the twist action of the stick as rudder and a button for brakes. That means it's impossible to fly helos and have hard time to taxi or takeoff with Spitfire. -
Is the OpenComposite which we use instead of SteamVR for Reshade good enough for FSR too?
-
You better start with PD 1.0, the VR preset settings of DCS and Oculus resolution initially at 75 hz and default. Then you play accordingly As said earlier https://vr4dcs.com/ is a great place to get info/help. Also check for the PC setup/optimisation
-
That will help a lot of people compared to our answers lost in this thread. Well done!!

It is strange you had to do this. as far as I remember I didn’t do anything like this. I have just installed it and run it. I use Skatezilla’s app, choose SteamVR API and that’s it. As Lange says I see a list of programs in the opencomposite configuration page but that was done automatically.
-
Here is how I did it: Through Skatezilla’s utility you choose SteamVR API and run Opencomposite. The rest is done by the Skatezilla’s utility. After that you enjoy reshade in VR.
-
No, you do not need to use SteamVR, that's the whole point! Skatezilla's utility points to SteamVR API but then OpenComposite takes over. At least this is the easiest way to explain it.
-
As I said I have no issues using the combination mentioned above. Through Skatezilla’s utility you choose SteamVR API and run Opencomposite. The rest is done by the Skatezilla’s utility. After that you enjoy reshade in VR. If you need I can later on provide some screenshots

Opencomposite is extremely easy and in combination with Skatezilla’s utility it made things easy for me.
