Hi there! Today I flew a mission with a total of 10 Hellfire missiles. The first 4 shots worked without any issues, but then, the next missile in sequence didn´t show "ready" anymore. (see attached screenshot). I couldn´t figure out, why that happened. What have I done wrong here? Was it due to the loadout? Thanks a lot in advance for any input! Note: The type was set to SAL, I only clicked R1 by accident, when I tried different stuff to get them working...

Or is me or is George? Mr George stay like stupid when I give to him a command to fire and just answer me engaging, engaging fire, fire lol is very frustrated to have the enemies in your lock like target and this dumb guy doesn't open fire as you require to him, I thought in the last patch this issue could be fixed but not this guy still telling me the same stupid answer I follow or the process first, but Mr George still act like stupid.

I've noticed the smaller ones (GBU38?) tend to land 10-15m off the target. Is this normal? I believe I'm doing everything right, prep the bombs (wait for the countdown), arm them, designate target via TGP and..sometimes it's a straight on hit, and sometimes it tends to miss by a certain margin. My targets are usually tanks and/or armored vehicles. I tried both PRE and VIS and it pretty much happens with both modes..

Hello, I've been recently learning the F-16 and I have noticed a few things, I was wondering if they are user error or just the state of the module: I often connect to the 162nd training server which has slight variations of the same mission. There is a group of enemy F-15's that usually come from the east. For some reason, on the F-16 I get no contacts on RWS or TWS. I have to wait until I am dogfight range and lock them in ACM. I have tried changing all the radar settings, the contacts just don't show up. In general, the radar seems to have a very hard time finding contacts in multiplayer. Often a momentary contact will show up(one dot in what should be a group of 4 bogeys) momentarily only to go away on the next radar sweep. The second issue is that the datalink seems to come and go in multiplayer. The datalink symbols seem to show up randomly. I am aware that the INS has to be aligned for this to work and the coordinates have to be confirmed when doing INS NORM ALIGN, so this is not the issue. In single player, the datalink seems consistent. The radar is better but still seems to have a hard time seeing contacts that are there. It is very different to the F-14 where once Jester finds a contact it rarely goes away(can't say the same for his locks of course). On the F-16 it seems unusual to get the same level of radar consistency seen on the F-14. Thanks in advance.

Hi, So I'm trying to use the MAVF and I can't get it to arm. I watched some tutorials and I do the same thing but even after alignment MAVF is crossed out on the stores page and on the HUD as well as STBY is under MAVF on the stores page. Any ideas? A/G is armed as well as the master arm. FLIR is on. I have also selected the target waypoint on the HSI.

Hy everyone, Is it just me or there is a problem using FLIR with GMT in the latest patched open beta. I used to take advantage of both GMT and FLIR to attack convoy. Previously when I designated a GMT target, the FLIR was automatically pointing at it (and alaos tracking the GMT position if I remember well). I tried that again today and the FLIR is pointing in offset with respect to the GMT. For exemple GMT was tracking a tank progressing on a road close to the coastline and the FLIR pointed somewhere in the water... Same is true with Sea mode. I designated my carrier in sea mode and the FLIR was pointing significatively in offset... I also got the impression that PTRK is alos more difficult to acquire a moving target.. Is it just me ? Did something change and I am doing it wrong ? Thanks -
I cannot manage to hit anything with the CBU's or Rockeye's in the Hornet lately. I do nothing new, but they just don't seem to hit anything even when they explode right on target? I only have the problem in the Hornet. In the F-16 it works like a charm, same mission! (So I just replace the Hornet with an F-16 in a simple ME mission, an it takes out most targets in one run, in the Hornet nothing happens, only some dust! ) Mfuze VT, HT 1500, 2 pairs CBU or Rockeye, I tried heights between about 6000 to 8000, no wind. I thought it worked before on the Hornet also.

Hello, I've already written on steam for some days ago, but the answer didn't seem to help. So I'm trying here. I feel like the AMRAAMs are not working the same as before. About 90% of the time, even with a hard lock, with TWS or RWS my AMRAAM go for the chaffs but about 1 inch before hitting the target, often turning at 90°. I have done a scenario (based of the quick starts with the F15) where I'm against two Su-27, and I have tested every options. I need 4 missiles per target to hit them... Have anyone else noticed that? I tried to that a video on youtube, but it not getting good. So I upload my last 2 tacview files, but I have 25 if needed... What I have noticed that it easier with only one target, I wonder if there is some interactions between the missiles or if they change lock... Thanks for the help! I don't know what else to do.... i watched all videos, i asked in ED Discord, none can help and i am not the only one with the same issue. Mavs do not auto handoff. only way to work correctly is by visual mode and then work with the slew cursor on the weapon MFD page, which is extremely difficult because it is completely unresponsive. So, what i do is this: i use almost exclusively the G and D mavericks, TPOD in Auto handoff mode, WPN page in PRE mode, i find the target with the TPOD and lock it by doing TMS Up long, i do this at 8nm distance or less. it works EVERY SINGLE time in an offline test mission i made in the mission editor but 0 times in multiplayer online servers. That's the only 2 occasions i tested it. i don't know if it works in offline campaigns, or other offline missions. Also i am not the only one, i see comments in the servers about this quite frequently. On the other hand, i saw a viper on an online server the other day, came in hot, fired 6 mavs at the same, time killed everything on the ground and flew by.... HOW DID HE DO THAT? Am i doing something wrong? Can someone please explain? -
As title really - under what circumstnaces are the TCN and ILS options not availbe on the left hand side of the HSI so I can box them and make them visible on my HUD? I don't player super regularlly so it's obvious I've potentially missed something on manual startup, but everything else was working file. I could still input TCN frequences and see the elements on the HSI display itself, but I didn't have the option to put them on my hud... What step did I miss? Cheers in advance, Roy

Do you guys see that all the harpoons always smash the water after acquiring target? Is it reported? Is it just me? Thanks.

Hey folks. I am brand new to the game and the learning curve is insane. I have completed all the tutorials for the 18. I load into multiplayer with a hot aircraft. I take off master arm on and select guns on my stick. However the gun funnel does not show up, I also don't get the ccip pipper in A/G mode. Sometimes I get it but usually I don't. I have no idea what I am doing wrong.

I am having general TMS issues. So TMS UP fails to lock up Mav H at any range. According to https://steamcommunity.com/app/223750/discussions/3/1631916887505180218/ , I am not on Steam but its still DCS, TMS UP is target designation. But no lockup occurs. Short holds, long holds. I don't get it quite yet.

This has happened a few times of late. When I land on the supercarrier, as the aircraft starts to roll back, the nose wheel lifts off the ground and get a tail strike. Also, the cable is stuck on the hook. I tried going full power then idle with the hook down and up. It just tail strikes again and I'm stuck on the runway. I forgot to save the trk file but next time I have it occur, I'll add it below.

If I start from an aircraft carrier (I´m using Supercarrier in this example), the waypoint route doesn´t aling well, it shows the waypoints, but with completely random heading. It happens no matter how I start the aircraft, manual, auto or already power up. The thing is that this didn´t happen until a couple of weeks ago, and I didn´t change anything in the sim Couple of pictures showing the HSI with the wrong route, and a F10 map with the correct heading. (They happen at the same time, so its something related with the aircraft, the game knows what the route is.

Hello everyone. Just reporting a bug that if there are multiple AI aircraft awaiting to takeoff, they may not move to open catapults 3 & 4. Example: 2 hornets parked behind 4 tomcats on starboard side; 2 hornets parked at rear-port locations. Looks like the tomcats will not move to Cat 3 or 4 when 2 hornets parked at the rear-port locations, nor will they take Cat 1 or 2. Hornets parked behind the tomcats are stuck.
