Known issue. Thanks.

Would this be considered the same problem, it also cast a shodow across the front cockpit dash/console.

ehhm, you mean the "marker" on the canopy, right? This is a feature, not a bug! :megalol:

Real fighter planes have them, because you need some reference when looking back and up!

...like german Stuka bombers had an angle-scale on the canopy so the pilot could look at the horizon and easily determine the dive angle :smartass:

Your welcome! Since you have a TrackIR this is definitely useful...inverted dive, loopings etc. climb, look up, fix the horizon, use the strip to maintain 90° angle to the horizon... and remember gently pull on the stick or she will twitch and shake like a real beast

Actually it is a lightning rod (strip).

Hi all,

Also experiencing what I call the "floating trees" problem. They don't seem to cause a collision detection as I flew right threw them avoiding a SAM.

Win7 64-bit

GeForce GTS 450 Driver 270.71

Not that we know of yet, no.

We plan to release a hot fix next week to remove tree shadows.

Hopefully we will return them in 1.1.0.9 in a much better state.

Rgrt, the tree shadows would actually look very good if they didn't glitch, thanks for that info Wags :)

I get the FARP shadow too.

Not only is there a shadow problem around FARP's, they also have the problem of flickering terribly at a distance ( this has been a long time problem, before 1.1.0.8 )
