You're going to find all you need to know in the link below : https://www.wikihow.com/Change-Mouse-Polling-Rate **If your mouse has no software, no problem, in the link you'll find one universal software, I installed, super easy, works! I've underclocked my mouse, 1000hz to 500hz (HZ IS NOT DPI). **You may still experience some fps drop and stutter for many other reasons.

Unfortunately the latest update has brought back some similar problems as the original 2.9 update did for me. I only seem to get lag in when I am CPU bound, so I thought I would turn down all system settings that mention CPU usage, the result was I was even more CPU bound? So I upped all the sliders you can while in game, clutter/grass, forest visibility etc, and straight away became GPU bound most of the time and much smoother gameplay. I have seen this stressing the graphics card "fix" when I was looking for a solution to the lag that 2.9 introduced for me. So what what settings affect GPU more than CPU?

When testing, I found that ground units which are activated/spawned are never detected by other ground units (least the data is not coming via the API). Also, dead units are never forgotten. Demo code: function seewhatwesee(one, time) local unit = Unit.getByName("Recce Unit #001") local contr = unit:getController() local detectedunits = Controller.getDetectedTargets(contr,1,2,4,8,16,32) for _,_unit in pairs(detectedunits or {}) do env.info("Detected: "..Object.getName(_unit.object)) end return time+10 end timer.scheduleFunction(seewhatwesee, 1, timer.getTime() + 10) Demo mission - units of the group Enemy-1 are never reported in the log. Dead units (as in killed in CA by a tank) continue to be reported. ground not detecting ground demo.miz

Hi. New update, new bugs! FSR,NIS,TAA-really good graphic options for lower/mid-end PC. In other games that options works really good, improving my fps with little cost of quality(almost not noticable). But not in DCS. As u can see in the video after enabling one of those three settings, the textures(in this example the most noticable f16 canopy) stutters, there is some ghosting? I dont know how to name that. After switching back to MSAA (2x for me is most optimal) everything looks fine, but at cost of my valuable fps . I keep in mind those options are new to the game but i don't remember to have this issue in other games. Take a look and see if you have any ideas. Be safe! DCS problem.mp4

dcs.log-20231019-172633.zip Attached my logs. I get a crash right when I start up MT via Steam using "play MT preview". Please help. I normally play in VR with my Varjo but I do a lot of ME so I need to be able to run 2D also. Thanks. I should mention that running MT with my Varjo (VR) works fine with no problems.

NVG does not toggle in VR after 2.9 Open Beta Update, image freezes when toggling NVG ON and unfreezes when toggled OFF. NVG works fine outside of VR. Specs: Windows 11 Pro, HP Reverb G2, Gigabyte Z590 AORUS PRO AX, i7-11700KF @ 5.1 GHZ, Vengeance Pro 64GB DDR4-3600, 2TB WD Blue SN 550 NVMe SSD x2, EVGA RTX 3070Ti XC3 Ultra Gaming (Overclocked), ASUS TUF Gaming 3440x1440p

In fact, it appeared in several posts in various topics, but I see that there is no the one, main about it after 2.9. The changelog said that the replay system had been improved. In fact, this has always been the "Achilles' heel" of DCS, but I have the impression that nothing or very little has changed. I recorded several tracks in 2.9 and unfortunately they all played incorrectly. Especially those in which you fought against ground units, which in each recreation basically had their own lives. One time my wingman lived, another time he died, and so on. It never corresponded to what happens in a real mission before.

Description Freezing Since 2.9 DCS is randomly freezing for a second or two. This happens both in cockpit/external view as well as in the map (F10) view. When the freezing occurs, DCS cannot be interacted with, i.e. no buttons or UI can be clicked (loading weapons, configuration panel, ATC, etc.) and of course no cockpit interaction either. The frequency of the freezing seems to be random, that is there is no recognizable pattern. Important: I am not having issues with the frame rates - between freezes the simulator runs fine, between 80-110 FPS. In multiplayer environment it seems to happen randomly, since it may or may not happen on the same server with almost identical variables - joining a server and the re-joining after a minute or two. It does not seem to be cloud-dependent as I might have heavy freezing with no clouds, and not so much with clouds present, for example. It single player, it seems to happen consistently in JF-17: Air to Air Refueling (Day) instant-action mission. Interestingly when the freeze occurs, the GPU usage goes down from regular 80% to 0% only to rise back up again once the sim recovers and just before the next occurrence. Task manager just before the freeze: Task manager just after the freeze: Textures not Loading When joining multiplayer, sometimes the textures fail to load (longer than 20 minutes). I could be sitting on the apron being able to see the sea water where land should be and of course no cockpit textures. It does not depend on the server, for example disconnecting and joining back again does not fix the issue. However, closing DCS and re-staring it again does fix the issue as the textures do load eventually, albeit quite slow (2-5 minutes). While the textures are missing or failing to be loaded, there seems to be very low disk usage (around 1MB/s). Once the textures start loading the disk usage jumps couple of times. In my case between 8-12MB/s. Task manages when textures are loading: When the textures are loading, they do in a very slow manner where very low resolution ones are loaded first (blurry) followed by higher resolution ones. Hardware/Software CPU: i5-4690K @ 4.1GHz (stock 3.5GHz) - water cooled GPU: GTX 1660 Super 6GB RAM: 32GB DDR - 4 x 8GB Kingston Value Select @ 1600Mhz, C11 MoBo: Asus Z-97 Gamer Pro HDD: Samsung Evo SSD 1TB Windows 10 Pro (latest) no mods, stock DCS trackIR v5 Additional information DCS Log file dcs.log After updating, I have: cleared the shaders folder cleaned up and did slow repair using the Updater utility disabled TacView There is no AntiVirus interfering with DCS. Notes: This is definitely NOT a faulty hardware issue, since the same settings work perfectly on version 2.8. Same issues happen on both single-threaded and multi-threaded versions.

fixed [REPORTED]AAP STEER Up/Down not working correctly
Vanguard posted a topic in Bugs and Problems
I have AAP STEER Switch Down and Up bound to HOTAS. Since the latest patch, it now skips a waypoint with each press, like each press quickly fires two pulses, jumping form 0 to 2, 1 to 3 etc. EDIT: Mouse clicked on the rocker switch has the same effect. Steer rocker of UFC is fine though. -
reported Embarking problem (group of units)
YoYo posted a topic in Ground AI Bugs (Non-Combined Arms)
I see that behavior of AI troops was changed after 2.9 if we have group. For mission I use group of Mi-8 (for example 3) and 3 group of soldiers, each 15, total 45 (so they don't fit into 1 unit on this test and should go to the next one) 1/ before 2.9 - if there was space in units of group, soldiers first moved to unit 1, when it was full they moved to unit 2, when it was full they moved to unit 3. Emarking was finished, proper AI behavior for group of units and soldiers 2/ in 2.9 - the groupes goes to unit 1 (all!), when its full it stands there and does nothing, the helicopters do not take off as well Looks like a bug now. Example in track. test4.trk
