that would be great if we can get 120A if it can be carried by Viper and Eagle

Video of bug. Summary: Aligning the HMD while AMRAAM is selected and L&S in TWS causes AMRAAM to no longer show LAR symbology. Sparrow and sidewinder are not affected. Steps to reproduce: 1. Select AMRAAM (AIM120B used here - unsure if applies to 120C) 2. Lock L&S target in TWS (unsure if this step necessary, or if bug reproduced in other radar modes) 3. Align HMD AMRAAM will no longer show LAR symbology in the HUD or B-scope. This cannot be undone by power cycling the radar, cycling weapons, cycling master mode or master arm. Cannot attach .track file due to file size but this was repeated multiple times on the PVP 90's contention server.

Perhaps in this world of missile spam nobody else cares much, but: It used to be that you could select single AIM-120s on the wing pylons of the Hornet and it would be mounted to the pylon directly. In the current version, though, in the same scenario you end up with a twin rack that is just half-loaded. This begs the question: is this realistic and intended? It seems to me the pylon itself should be sufficient.

Allows the AIM-120A AMRAAM to be mounted onto the shoulder pylons (1B and 8B) for the Heatblur F-14 Tomcat with either a single (Sparrow pylon) or double rack. This mod is based on the images of the PMTC F-14A during the AIM-120 development along with the image of the unused double AIM-120 rack mounted on an F-14. The AIM-120A in this mod uses the older API and has a higher susceptibility to countermeasures than the AIM-120B. Mod Link: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3325289/ Bugs: The missile uses the older missile API so it might miss or do super harsh turns. When using the double racks, the missile count will be incorrect since the missile count is determined by used pylons. Missiles on the double racks fire in a weird way. AIM-120Bs and Cs are not supported since they will crash your game once you attempt to fire them. Changelog: V1.0 - Initial Release V1.1 - Updated for OB 2.7.17.29493. I have just picked up the Hornet and I have some questions about TWS and its functions. 1. When "locking" a target in TWS mode and firing an AIM-120C, pressing Undesignate/NWS switches targets, does this "lose" the lock on the original target and cause the missile to go pitbull 2. If so, does this give the bandit an RWR warning BEFORE the missile goes pitbull assuming I still see him on my own radar

In this clip I fire a total of 4 AMRAAMS with a TWS lock at an F-16 with my F-18. Only the 4th one manages to start guidnace to the target. Before the start of the clip I had already fired one AMRAAM from long range (~50 nm) and it went up high without lofting even tough I had a TWS lock. This can be seen at the start of the clip as an active AMRAAM on the right MFD. The 2 other missiles go stupid in the same way. I want to say this again but this happens only SOMETIMES but when it happens it is infuriating. Video is from today. I do not have the track files but I can download the whole scenario Tacview file if it is required. Link to video: https://a.uguu.se/ylAMFOEu.mp4 (Hosted on a free hosting site)

I'm not sure exactly when it changed, but I noticed that the AIM-120C no longer is listed as "AIM-120C-5" (which it definitely once was - see this screenshot, taken from this post from September 2022) but just "AIM-120C". So, a couple of questions: What AIM-120C variant do we actually have in DCS? Or at least, what is it supposed to be? AIM-120C-5 is from the early-ish 2000s and so is appropriate for the F-15C, F-15E, F-16CM and F/A-18C. Was the C-5 designation a mistake and that we actually had the base AIM-120C variant from the mid 1990s? If it is still supposed to be an AIM-120C-5, why the name change?
