Do so enormous fuel tanks limit plane max AoA or other things during fight?

Whenever I see Mirage with fuel pods, I wonder how it can fly with them.

Dafuq?

Yes, the affect the aerodynamics when using the EFM.

At this moment there are several switches that can be programmed into a complex throttle/stick system like Saitek's Rhyno X-55 or the Warthog. These will be polished after open beta, so the answer is a cautious yes.

At this moment you can assign several instruments panel switches like the Armament Panel/Radar Panel and of course the HOTAS themselves into your Warthog system without needing to mess with the .lua files.

Nice, thanks. I was on the fence from buying, but this pretty much conviced me.

For the image you see, I was utilizing the standard flight path AP mode and testing out tracking an escorted aircraft using only the trim switches (in AP mode alters commanded flight path).
This seems like a very interesting feauture.

Folks, today we have passed a milestone. Today we have declared the EFM in Beta status. Due to that, from now on the aircraft will use the EFM exclusively in all our tests/development sessions.

Great work! How does the jet feel now? Is there a PFM in the works as well?

Lol... The sentenc expressing excitement is hardly typed before someone starts asking about the next thing! Let's just step back a minute and recognize how big a deal this is! AWESOME work, Razbam!

Besides, my understanding is EFM is the 3rd party devs equivalent to a PFM, and that phraseology is only used on a ED product

I have been nothing but supportive for their work. Problem is, on a forum it's quite hard to convey feelings: it's not like I said "PFM or moot!", it was a genuine question.

Now *that* is good news! Thanks for this. The inclusion of EFM from the start when us buyers get our hands on the Mirage makes a huge difference. The ground handling alone is like day and night, not to mention the handling while airborne.

ED sets the bar really high, and our expectations usually soar as well - so, well done, RAZBAM! I was sceptical after I pre-purchased the M-2000, but now I am eager to fly it. :)

I thought so, but it would have been an assumption on my part, and that invites disappointment :helpsmilie:

Why an assumption? I think the statement is clear:" Folks, today we have passed a milestone. Today we have declared the EFM in Beta status. Due to that, from now on the aircraft will use the EFM exclusively in all our tests/development sessions."

Why should they do this and give us a flightmodel which is internally not supported anymore?

@Razbam

Nice to hear this, so pre ordering 30 seconds after the announcement mail arrived wasn't a bad decision.

This is excellent news.

I see often a low number of views on the Razbam forum. I think fellow simmers still don't value what has RAZBAM so far achieved.

Your continuous progress is astonishing. Great communication as well

Great news! Hope it comes in the initial release.
