A lot of people see any 4th gen fighter and think "Oh! Multirole!" I'm amongst them, actually. I figured the Mirage 2000C we're getting would have better multirole capacity than it apparently does.

However, Corrigan is correct.

Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!

To me this module will bring us exciting air to air action (where every shot counts hehe) and fun with old style bombing and strafing :D

How many unguided rockets can we cram on it?

If they made that t-shirt featuring Viggen I would wear nothing else for the rest of my life.

Hey devs, are there any immediate plans for some more videos? I understand if it's getting near crunch time and you have better things to do though.

There is hope, I asked nicely for a Gripen and they said it is on the list. Any videos would be fine by me also, I'm eager to start her up and go flying now.

Hello Timghetta,

Nice work :)

I'm just surprised by the radar radome. On (real) accident pictures, it doesn't "tear" with dents like you've made it on the damage model. Perhaps this should be revised?

Please have a look to attached pics:

- the first one is a 2000N who crashed at sea after engine failure (part of refueling boom doesn't mix well with reactor fan). The 2000N has a radome type from the same "generation" as the 2000C/B.

- the second and third photos are from a 2000D that crashed in Afghanistan a few years back (mechanical failure). The D model has a newer radome (like the -5) but perhaps it's still valid, tearing-wise.

If you look closer, the dented area in the pics is the radar unit before the radome. I can revise the the radome to crumble more like a composite material.

In the second picture, the radome it seems to be made of a brown material, most probably not metal but some composite. Besides, "bagging" all the air straight head onto the airflow, will probably crumble/tear it all the way to the mounting, wouldn't it?

What I know about radomes is that they're made of radar-transparent material and less resistant structurally (on some airliners the radome is made of ceramics).

It seem to make sense to make the destroyed nose look like the last photo Az' posted (i.e. "cut" around the rim).

I'm also thinking about the destroyed radome on the MiG-21BIS, it really looks nice as it is done (I don't have a screenshot at hand sorry).

On the wing, rudder and nozzle the tearing seem to follow the structure, it's really nice, I'm looking forward to see some battle damage like nasty cannon hits

I love that you guys post WIP stuff! We really appreciate it. I think it's very much the correct choice for building excitement too; I'll be making a purchase shortly! Can't wait.
