Are the objects converted from Arma? Looks soooo similar.

Hescos, cones, signs all from free 3d models. Barbwire and restricted area wood sign post were modeled from Arma but re-textured and slight adjustments made to not infringe on copyright issues. I have asked many modders in Arma 2/3 for permission to use their mods for use in DCS, have not got many responses back yet.

Ranger79, I really love your Mod, I've begin to created my new Airbase...

I'm so excited, congratulation...

here one little screnshot of the beginning of my installations:

NICE! Also the LOD levels are built into the objects to help with FPS, I have not seen a real big hit at all.

Thanks for your kindly words...

When I flight above this new airbase my FPS drop but I really love your Mods, in fact more we have the elements like yours and more we can have one simulator more beautiful and awesome.

Congratulation again for your talent and your sharing, best regards. Skull

It may not be a popular suggestion but one niche that is particularly empty is WW2/Korean War era static objects. I saw a King Tiger, Kubelwagen, various ships and objects on your linked site from that period of time.

A tree, to let us place them near the LZ... so that at least in landing/TO situation we can place proper obstacle :) (as fortification as usual).

The thing is, helicopters are different from planes. An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.

Oh dear, you've opened the flood gates :)

The 727 and 737 would be great as statics

This TOW tripod would be great to add to the Allied forces, I think I know how to arm it too

And this technical would be fantastic

As weird as it may sound, I'd love to see a tractor in the fields!

I don't fly the P51, but adding actual working ground units I believe would increase interest. How bout some WWII type tanks, trucks?

Tractor, easy will do. Also, I do have a camo netting but I need to modify alittle more before release. You can see it on Welcome to Suse Afghan Style Part 1 on my YouTube channel.

Technical is finished, used model from another source, a 7.62 mm and 30mm version, need to change the vehicle color on one of them to assist with distinguishing the two.

All these are doable and depending on if they have a texture included pretty easy. I will check them all out when I get home tonight.

Hi,

I know the website tf3dm and I also know they have a lot of models, which are not made by the uploaders and have not the copyright for it.

It would be better you make your own models or use really free models with permission from the modeler.

Take the models as inspiration for your own work.
