Eburitus Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 If I lose my keys to modules, do i lose my right to play modules or is it some way recovarable? HEY! EVERYONE SCATTER! HES FLYING AGAIN!:pilotfly:
joey45 Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 What do you mean by 'lose'..? The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Eburitus Posted March 15, 2014 Author Posted March 15, 2014 Forget without backups and then wipe my HDD for example. HEY! EVERYONE SCATTER! HES FLYING AGAIN!:pilotfly:

HiJack Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 If you are out of registrations that will be solved by ED support. Should be no problem if you have not spread your license around with your friends :D
pacotito Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 If you bought them from the DCS site the serials will be in your order history. If you bought from Steam they will be in your library. However if you do lose and can't recover your serial than you won't be able to activate and/or play. Pacotito I7-5820k@4.5 Z99 extreme4 16gb ddr4 520gb ssd. Gigabyte ssc GTX960 SSC 4gb
AtaliaA1 Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 If I lose my keys to modules, do i lose my right to play modules or is it some way recovarable? I lost all of my music (over 1,000 full CDs) after that I learned to back up. I even Back UP my Back Up now. 2 external drives one is a 1.5terrabyte the other is 4terrabyte. Never again. (I hope). Suchacz Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 The best backup is paper and pen... trust me, I know it :smilewink: Per aspera ad astra! tsumikae Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Everytime you buy a module, ED sends you various rather interesting emails. One of them even includes the key for your product. And this is pretty much unlosable. Joy :D
cichlidfan Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 I lost all of my music (over 1,000 full CDs) after that I learned to back up. I even Back UP my Back Up now. 2 external drives one is a 1.5terrabyte the other is 4terrabyte. Never again. (I hope). I can't disagree with that. My keys are in the emails, as well as a spreadsheet (which I keep an updated hardcopy on hand), and both are backed up to a raid array which is then backed up to yet another drive. :) ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! hitman Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 I have all of mine with both a notepad and a copy of the email saved to each individual folder on a fresh bluray disk AND thumb drive....and a separate external hard drive, and on Mega, dropbox....and I still have the torrents for them (which get updated every patch). All that, and it makes me even happier that I can log into the DCS website and can download AND copy my keys a'la 100 mbit internet.
