Lizzard Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 looks very nice..keep it up! :thumbup: The "problem" might be that there are some cars and pole shadows in your textures...this may end up in the textures look like a poster glued on the ground..especially when flying low level in a Helo..:) My Specs: I don`t care..it is a Computer..a black one..

(when you release this, it would be nice if you would release only the modded files not coupled with another terrain mod)

Changes in the engine always affect the way textures are displayed, maybe they are even loaded differently. Everything from the format (perhaps a newer DDS standard) to the shaders might break existing texture mods. End even if EDGE itself doesn't change anything, it is still possible that other features of DCSW 2.0 will break something. I still hope it will compatible, of course. I think that due to these kind of mods this map will leave much longer then we are expecting now :)... even in the new EDGE. The only possible issue with textures and new EDGE will be the illumination which might change the wanted colors. When I get more of it done ill release just the textures so you guys can use it with any other texture pack you want. It is being based off of the low and slow pack so it tends to look best with that. I am new to modding DCS and in general. Is there anyway I can just load up the map? Im kinda sick of having to generate missions just to see what I've done. Many Thanks!
