After having my JetSeat for some months now, I think it is the best thing since sliced bread. Now I can't imagine simming without these effects.

Indeed, flying helos is so much simpler, you can really feel that you are entering unsafe flight regimes :-)

I fully agree.

I sometimes have to remind myself, when writing to others about the advantages of DCS, that this seat is no small part of why I enjoy simming in DCS. :)

Both for warbirds and for helos this seat and Andre's SimShaker software is a tremendous advantage.

System specs:

Gigabyte Aorus Master, i7 9700K@std, GTX 1080TI OC, 32 GB 3000 MHz RAM, NVMe M.2 SSD, Oculus Quest VR (2x1600x1440)

Warthog HOTAS w/150mm extension, Slaw pedals, Gametrix Jetseat, TrackIR for monitor use

SimShaker is really great, I have been using it with ButtKicker LFE (I have 2 shakers under my seat) and really, the feeling it gives is great. For example, sometimes the flaps sound or gear sound is not that great, sometimes I don't even hear it... but the clunk I get under my seat as gear closes/opens or flaps lower/raise... really adds to the immersion. I think its well worth it.

PC specs:

Windows 11 Home | Asus TUF Gaming B850-Plus WiFi | AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D + LC 360 AIO | MSI RTX 5090 LC 360 AIO | 55" Samsung Odyssey Gen 2 | 64GB PC5-48000 DDR5 | 1TB M2 SSD for OS | 2TB M2 SSD for DCS | NZXT C1000 Gold ATX 3.1 1000W | TM Cougar Throttle, Floor Mounted MongoosT-50 Grip on TM Cougar board, MFG Crosswind, Track IR

This does sound interesting, I have read the entire thread and it just sounds superb. does it do amplitude of vibration too, say low level dings and or bullet hits or is the feeling somewhat the same?

HP G2 Reverb (Needs upgrading), Windows 10 VR settings: IPD is 64.5mm, High image quality, G2 reset to 60Hz refresh rate. set to OpenXR, but Open XR tool kit disabled.

DCS: Pixel Density 1.0, Forced IPD at 55 (perceived world size), DLSS setting is quality at 1.0. VR Driver system: I9-9900KS 5Ghz CPU. XI Hero motherboard and RTX 3090 graphics card, 64 gigs Ram, No OC... Everything needs upgrading in this system!.

Vaicom user and what a superb freebie it is! Virpil Mongoose T50M3 base & Mongoose CM2 Grip (not set for dead stick), Virpil TCS collective with counterbalance kit (woof woof). Virpil Apache Grip (OMG). MFG pedals with damper upgrade. Total controls Apache MPDs set to virtual Reality height. Simshaker Jet Pro vibration seat.. Uses data from DCS not sound... goodbye VRS.

Hi Andre.

A question.

You make shipments to Latin America my country is Argentina.

Thank you so much...

Looks really uncomfortable

Since nobody in this thread complained yet, and the product is based on a massage seat, I don't think it is uncomfortable at all.

Hi Gera,

why not, let's give it a try. You may become the very first JetSeat owner in Latin America. A pioneer.

Just ordered a 908.

Really looking forward to it (hopefully the wife won't be around when it arrives).

A bit nervous though, as I daren't think about all the gadgets and rubbish I've amassed over the years, trying to get the best out of flight sims, that rather too quickly end up gathering dust in a box, buttkicker included. Last one wasn't so much the fault of the buttkicker, although vibration rattle and noise transference through to the floor wasn't helpful, but more to do with getting myself a USB headset several years ago and finding I could no longer also use the BK from my sound card in conjunction.

Given that the Jetseat has been around/ being developed for a couple of years, I'm surprised I couldn't find more reviews on it, hasn't Bunyap done one, or SimHQ and if not why not ? It also seems to be the sort of thing that Jason, over at 777 champions and offers to the US market.

The only problem that I might have with this product is that it works by sound, can the software isolate the sound to the game only? Because I usually listen to music while cursing with my A10 so that may cause some issues.

Does anyone know anything about this?

I think you'll find it's the opposite, sort of.

For games that the Simshaker software is involved, DCS for example, although using the same triggers as the sounds, it doesn't actually use the sounds, just the same trigger events, flaps, gear, Warren for example. For games, such as BoS/MoS etc where the Simshaker software isn't used then yes you are correct it uses the same triggers as the sub woofer i.e sounds. That at least is my take on it from the reading that I've been doing.

ahh okay that makes sense, another problem (not really, I can use line-in) I have a USB headset but from what you're telling me software supported games do not need the 3.5mm haedset they work by the USB on the gametrix?

That was my reading of it, but I'm sure =Andre= could explain it far better than I, he seems to pop in regularly so I'm sure you'll get a proper, definitive answer soon.

Pardon me?

If you have been following the Oculus Rift roll out then you would appreciate that their efficiency and customer contact leave a lot to be desired. Read; non-existent.
