Kverdon,

For now VKB basically are selling only Gladiator and T-Rudder Mk.IV.

All the other items became "promises", more probable to see now only in Q2 2017 due Chinese Lunar New Year.

In any case are the option is buy direct from VKB China, shipping will be less expensive than from Europe.

I really hope the new grips will be rock solid (as they'll be made of plastic).

My Black Mamba/Cobra-type grip tends to creak when I squeeze its little neck. :weight_lift:

Also, I'd love to use an analog mini-stick on the grip - it would be a great addition as a russian-style TDC but also a fantastic thrusters control for the space sims.

In fact, I can't think about a next gen modern grip without an analogic mini-stick.

Mmmm, VKB say something (il2.ru) about this analogs mini-stick available on the market don't show the needed "longevity".

Maybe VKB needs to look at the good old CH Pro Throttle, which had such a mini-stick and it stood the test of time! Loved that thing and miss it dearly on my TM Warthog Throttle! :)

Let's just put a replaceable analog ministick in that grip then :music_whistling:

And just like rrohde said, CH has done it right, even the TM Cougar throttle seems to have a decent one… gamepads have resilient ones !

Should I start thinking about drilling a hole in the grip to stuff an APEM Hall effect ministick in there?!

I have a project in development to replace the Warthog TDC slew tit with a mini thumb stick. I'm almost done and went with a PS3 thumb stick.

Those APEM look really nice, any idea about the price ? from what I see, $100 or something ?

Happy Flying ! :pilotfly:

Yes it's around $100 (and above). Industrial grade contact-less ministicks. They're even IP68 certified. Totally overkill for a home HOTAS imho, but who would refuse high quality? :)

Also, I really need my TDC to be accurate and reliable (precise thrusters controls for space sims would only be icing on the cake).

I received my Gladiator Pro about 2 weeks ago and learned to use it with WW II aircraft. It takes some time to adapt to the much lower stick forces (vs TM Warthog), but it certainly provides better accuracy. I use it in conjunction with the TM Warthog throttle and a DSD button box. The button box helps to make up for the "missing buttons" on the joystick, and I find it easier to use than the buttons on the throttle. Throttle and joystick are mounted on the Monstertech table mounts.

However, for modern aircraft I prefer the Warthog grip with its many buttons, and today I re-connected the Warthog joystick in order to fly the A-10C. It feels like a body-building program! I'm impatiently waiting for the Gladiator Pro's Warthog adapter to combine the accuracy of the Gladiator Pro base with the functionality of the Warthog grip, and I'm hoping for an update from Eduard.

Well yeah I totally agree but I wish they could provide a version without the IP68 certification, I'm pretty sure it would halve the price. At $50 a pop, I'd totally have gone for it.

So for us folk in the US, is their someone that we can purchase the Adpapter from? VKB US is now Kaput as the #$%@# Jason appears to have folded and pulled the plug. Can we still order from VKB Europe? Is their a link to their web sight now that "GoStratojet" is gone?

VKB is actively working on a new, reliable North American partner. Worry not!

And the other parts of the "kit" too: ;)

Noticeable 2 springs in Y axis, to give 20 cm extension the correct "feel". :)

It looks wonderful!

There's a peculiar detail I notice on that gimbal ;)

And it's ready for two springs per axis. It should be great for the central stick position w/ extension and for the Warthog grip option.

I also like the small footprint.

But now I'm conflicted. Should I get one, as a central stick using the stick extension? Or two so I can have a helo cyclic and a side stick? :music_whistling:

Who is selling the Gunfighter Pro with Warthog adapter in Europe?

Windows 10 64bit, Intel i9-9900@5Ghz, 32 Gig RAM, MSI RTX 3080 TI, 2 TB SSD, 43" 2160p@1440p monitor.

So no exclusive deal with chinese companies for the Euro market? That's good news.

That small glimpse at the Gunfighter's internals looks promising. Love the fact that it supports two springs (per axis); seems as if the gimbal has been reinforced as well. Can't wait! Definitively a worthy replacement for my Mamba MkIII.

if the gunfighter only had ffb, it would be stick of all sticks of all times.

i loved the two spring concept of my ch fighterstick, so im sure this concept coupled with the cam profile will feel awesome. remains to be seen whether it can beat the old msffb2.

Hopefully it isn't 'sold out' all the time. There seems to be only a very small timeframe when FSC has the joysticks in stock.
