Cobra said that November looks good for the announcement.
Could you provide a link to where he said that? He has not mentioned November anywhere on these forums.

I honestly don't see the big deal. The only people are impatient is they were told by LNS that they would get an announcement in September and one in October...I understand they want to pull something impressive together for the announcement but the carrot was already put out there and now there is an element of frustration.

I really hope were getting something soon :)

Oh, my bad it was reddit apparently! I have to many separate forums to monitor! :doh:

Well, let's hope it won't be the run-of-the-mill end of November this time :) Can't wait to see the presentation of the upcoming modules as IIRC it won't be just a simple announcement as the modules should be in a far more advanced stage than e.g. the Tomcat.

Next aircraft speculation

So...I believe that is a circa 2009 FC user mod.

Luckily, this is not a case of industrial espionage. :P

I haven't checked LNS's website in a long while so I don't know if its new or not but there is definitely an F6F and P-38 on their front page....

Thats been there a while and it has been stated that those images has nothing to do with the new modules. :-)

Thats a Ja-37 though.

We will be getting a AJ-37 or a AJS-37 (if there is a viggen)

(AJS being an upgrade if the AJ-37)

The easiest way to tell a AJ-37 from a JA 37 is the rudder.

The JA-37 has that antenna / serration on its rudder while the AJ-37s rudder is smooth.

It's the swedish m90 pattern. It's used for pretty much everything in the swedish armed forces, from uniforms to tanks, ships etc...

RAM = radar-absorbent material

The picture in the "Modules" thread where the aircraft is "not seen"

... it is something stealthy...
