I know it's an F-15 but it's applicable to the F-14 when the two player per aircraft mode is complete. Just imagine the carnage and confusion that will ensue. Hehehehe. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer.
