chev255 Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Talking about that new F-5E-3, I had a 1-1 guns only fight against the AI in an F-15C yesterday and at some point the F-5 zoomed from 10,000 ft to 70,000ft at 70 degrees pitch, leaving me far behind! I hope we get to keep these engines ;)

We are getting E-3 version as playable, with -159 radar, Countermeasures and RWR. AND there is less advanced E, with -153 radar, without Countermeasures and RWR (which is only AI).

Recalling from memory; but I thought besides the two wing-tip mounts the F-5E had four under-wing and one center-line. So you can build an AA config of 2x, 4x, and 1x. Plus I know I've seen a pic somewhere of an F-5 with a rocket pod mounted to the center-line.
