Thanks, Starway, will be watching closely!

By the way, will you be updating the Desert terrain as well? I was kinda hoping to meld your Northern Europe, Desert and Vietnam mods to get as much flexibility as possible. :D

Please try to avoid those dark spots/craters(fake bushes?) in ground. Look bit like moon surface and makes very hard to spot targets.

Just suggestion. Looks good anyway.

After completing the europe map, I will go on with the desert. Won´t take too long I guess...

I have been using the current version of the mod with DCS 1.5 without any issues. It looks as good as in the previous version of DCS. :)

Me too!

Works great!

Are not the folder structure changed in 1.5? Tell us how you people done this?

I am using JSGME the same way I did in 1.2.16 and have had no problems. I remember in one of Wagg's live streams he said the folder structure was not going to change. If you already have JSGME just change the path to DCS World OpenBeta, do a new snapshot to be safe and let the good times roll. As a side note, this mod seems to have eliminated the shimmering and shadow flickering of trees that I had with the default terrain textures.

Hey guys,

just to make some things clear. Due to the fact that the folder structure did not change in 1.5, of course you can use the old version of this mod without any problems and I think the results are not that bad.

But be aware that I am working on a new version, which will have better compatibility with the new engine. Also, the old mod was designed to be used with sweetFX. Luckily the new engine does not need that tweak anymore. Using the new engine with sweetFX is a bit like having a great angus beef steak and putting some ketchup on it. Sorry guys, but that is my opinion.

So feel free to use the old version in the meantime.

Best,

SW

No realy, somhow pale colours and a greenish touch in the new engine. I use a tiny little bit of new contrast with sweetfx 2.0 and it's now 100% awsome (to 99% without) :)

Starway- are you considering darkening the airfield textures? At the moment they kind of "light up" the place compared to the rest of your textures. Looking forward to 1.5 version:)

Try editing Runway2.0.fx in C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\shaders\terrain\shaders20 (with Notepad++) this should solve overbright airfields
