I will lock the door to my game room and join the testing when you guys got things set up.

 

Nice. Now we only have to test if anything else shows up but that was the biggest issue.

Blue Flag campaign is up and running on 1.5.2

 

This is a first test run of the new 1.5.2 release with Blue Flag campaign.

Until some scripting issues are not fixed, we cannot allow for taking out flights out of captured airbases, only slots from your original airbases are available.

This is great news, looking forward to test blueflag out again. Any chance to see slingloads added soon? All the heli pilots love the new slingload features..^^

We started using Ciribobs troops transport instead of the AJAX troops transport because Ciribobs is 1.5 ready. This new troops transport is still explored to test stability but it does have much more sling load opportunities and if the sling load is actually fixes, we will use it, if it is not, we will still use sling load but simulated.

 

@MULE, tested with 1.5.2?

Its great to see that test round.

But what setting for model enlargement will be set ? Since 1.5.2 its the server forces its setting to clients.

 

I hope you will not leave it off, it would be a huge step back

Model enlargement off gets my vote. Seemed to work in 1.2 and makes it hard to spot me in my little helo!

We also got a report that the A-10C has no Mav Ds, the TGP is out as it is the 70s/80s setup at the moment.

 

When the Mirage gets released, will it be added to the mission?

 

In my opinion the Mirage perfectly fuels the 80's style mission.

 

The Mirage will definitely be included once it is released.

As domini99 said, it perfectly fits the 70s/80s variant of the campaign.

Thanks, I agree that enlarged is too much. And generally in 1.5.1 it was as a whole overdone. I haven't checked yet, but I hope it is more reasonable in 1.5.2.

Because playing without any kind of enlargement is definitely not realistic and quite a terrible experience for those flying without a modern radar.

I don't know if this has ever been reported before, but helicopters never spawn on the farp, but on the edge of it or just next to it, causing broken landing gears.

 

Also, I hope the scripts get fixed soon, because flying for over half a hour for a single attack run is not fun

Wondering that it's still an issue :(

 

 

We had this reported previously as RightStuff wrote, but as we had to recreate the whole mission again from scratch on 1.5 due to the initial issues with old mission conversions, this issue must have happened again.

I have a recommendation,

If there are only like 30 minutes left to server restart, and everybody leaves, is it possible to make the server restart before the 30 minutes ran out when everybody has left?

 

Right now we're just waiting and waiting for it to restart because in 30 min we ain't gonna get shit done

Suggestion: Can we remove the "Awesome user A took off from some airport, Awesome user B just killed somebody or landed at some airport" making people get on TS can only be the good side effect (^^)
