Darn Skate, do you ever sleep?:smilewink: Thanks for these skins, especially from us old Marine Corps folks that actually worked on these Furies. Yes I know very well the differences between the real Furies and the USAF model you have to work with, but if I squint real hard, it looks great!

Nothing is set yet, I dont like posting just one Livery,

 

I want at least 6 to make a Fury Mock Up Pack.

 

I Still have to finish the ALT 200 Gallon Tanks, tanks are done for normal VF-84 (no stripes), but I have to Fix the 120 Gal, Supposed to be Black w/ Yellow, not yellow w/ Black, if anything I'll move these tanks to the other VF-84 Livery since they turned out great.

 

Then it's tweakin' lines etc that may need adjustments, add some more clutter (so more random "VF-84" decals on flaps or something to sub out the Plane # Decals that arent there.

 

Then I'll move on to another livery.

You saw that HomeFries did VF-191 Satan's Kittens Skin Pack with a clever decal layer so you could have the entire squadron with only one skin to download?

 

It looks very good but he needs to update the BORT number issue now.

 

It would be great if all the Sabre skins that don't use the default number locations, like the RAF, RCAF, USN and USMC used his decal method, it would mean less downloading of skins and taking up valuable HDD space on servers.

I alternate / rotate my time between projects,

 

However F-86F liveries have been pretty much on hold as other projects required more attention.

 

I'll Likely release a 2 Pack Fury Liveries for VF-84 after I clean them up and finish double/triple checking alignments of stuff.

While I'm battling several ailments (flu, broken foot, etc), I have set aside some time to finish the VF-84 Mockups this week hopefully,

 

adding some additional decals/details, and working on the tanks etc.

 

I have other Fury Mockups in the pipe, but they are a long way from release ready,

I don't feel it's fair to continue to hold these beauties back, they need to see the world.

Thought I'd give you guys a lil preview of the Tweaked Polished Liveries for v2.0 of the Pack.

(Tweaked Diffuse and Specular Mappings)

 

The Pack will Also be increased to 10 Liveries, as I'll include a Polished Version of the U.S. Air Force TFS Default Livery.

(NOTE: NOT THE SAME EXACT ONE FROM THE OLD TRAILERS, BUT CLOSE)

What ever happened to this skin pack (shown on page 2 of this thread)? I never was able to find it posted anywhere was it ever released? This post was a preview of an upcoming new pack but I never heard of it getting released. Will these skins still work or were these made prior to the chrome change that broke the old chrome skins that worked in 1.5.3 and prior? I like your old ones as well but these are really cool too and truth be told these are truly like the skins used in the the F-86 trailer.

The pack was released long ago, and then deleted.

 

I wont be doing/updating any polished liveries until the reflection / chrome shader is fixed.
