tintifaxl Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 A-10C was in Beta long time all before 1.0.0.0 is beta ? I don't understand this sentence. Can you explain this a bit more? Windows 10 64bit, Intel i9-9900@5Ghz, 32 Gig RAM, MSI RTX 3080 TI, 2 TB SSD, 43" 2160p@1440p monitor.
Blech Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Hi, Note: Customers that purchased DCS: A-10C Warthog while it was in beta (prior to February 21st, 2011) will be provided this map FOR FREE! You can get your serial number at the product details page in the E-Shop. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/products/terrains/

VincentLaw Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 not fair playActually, it is fair play, because back when the A-10C was in beta, ED advertised the Nevada map as a feature of the A-10C module, which means anyone who purchased the module back then thought they were getting the Nevada map years ago. I think I actually came to these forums in the first place to find out where my missing Nevada map was back in 2010, and then I stuck around. The Nevada map was removed from the feature list of the A-10C by the time the beta ended, so there should not have been a misunderstanding about what was included for purchases made after the beta ended. We are not getting Nevada for free. We are getting what we paid for. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
joebloggs Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Who cares, it's not like they are charging the earth for it. I paid and I'm looking forward to it. They have worked hard on it and the ones who are getting it free are just lucky in my opinion, but so what good for them.
joebloggs Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Forgot to ask is Nevada still due at the end of this month? Nobody seems to be talking about it anymore.

joebloggs Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 We just got a newsletter stating that not too long ago, they arent going to update us daily.... Yes, I remember the news letter. I was talking about the community not really saying a lot about it. I don't seem to be able to find the thread about Nevada though, so maybe that's why.
Bobby Posted November 25, 2015 Author Posted November 25, 2015  Thx for the explanation According to the above post I have bought Beta 6 version A-10C without Nevada map on 8.1.2012. For Nevada map I needed to buy Beta 1 version before 21.02.2011. Beta surely didn't end on 21.02.2011. because initial DCS A-10C release started on version 1.x.x.x as it is stated in post #3 in link below. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2548018 I can only wait for -70% discount
fredm2002 Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Are the serial numbers available yet, for those of us that bought A-10C in beta, before the date? All I see is the serial for what I bought so I could get the Red Flag campaigns. Intel i7-12700K, 128 GB RAM, 3080 TI, 26 TB of Storage

DCS:A-10C was released way earlier than DCS World. According to this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Combat_Simulator#DCS:_A-10C_Warthog DCS:A-10C was released on April 22, 2011. DCS: A-10C was officially released on 21.02.2011. All beta builds came before that - it doesn't matter what numbered build the beta was at the time, as long as you bought the module before that date you get NTTR for no cost. What is listed as the initial A-10C release in your link, means the finalized release build of the game - that is, after beta.

Then it was changed to 1.2.0 and progressed to 1.2.16 from there. 1.5 was EDGE/DX11+ Other changes. 2.0 will be NTTR and Mutiple Maps capability. to get NTTR for free you had to be part of the A-10C Standalone beta , NOT the DCSWorld Beta.
