Witchking Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 holy crap...thats too detailed... but lol...guys imagine this scenario...:p u take 10 min to take off....a noob comes in a A10 and shoots ya :P...lol! lol...I am not mocking....ED is taking an amazing step in detail...I can't wait to try it. :) A couple of requests: - can you please remove the annoying MEGA SIZED MISSILE exhaust that you introduced in FC?..I personally think it looked better in 1.02...normal sized.....even better...change the entire missile effect....better smoke and a firery blast...instead of a dull white+yellow. - another thing is to implement debris with vehicle explosions...even if it is random pixely lines flying as debris. I'll be honest and say that while I love ED's eye for detail (it's what captured my imagination in the original DOS demo for Flanker... I can still remember the first time I saw the highly detailed ships) I couldn't even be bothered to watch the Ka-50 start-up vid all the way to the end. Someone appears to have stolen my attention span. I guess I'll just have to go back to working on my book. 20 years and counting. Weta43 Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 One suggestion - that the popup english labels also have the state attached - so the label would read something like - 'Forward Fuel Tank Pumps (on)' or 'Forward Fuel Tank Pumps (off)' not just 'Forward Fuel Tank Pumps' - more usefull for things like burst length & ammo type etc. than pump status, but I could read that label.. The startup looked pretty cool (I think he's retracting the gear as he heads into the distance & does retract before heading off in the nav clip) & would take a lot less time if he wasn't leaving such big gaps between doing anything. Notice how ground units don't react to anything.
