Oh. It's OK. Casper (or you) should use a little software composed by UBoats to get the proper description.lua for F-15C cockpit. Filenames of the textures that aren't used in the mod must be deleted or disabled by modifying the lua file. Finally lua and DDS files should be in the same folder and put the right place under the Liveries folder.

 

Please examine other (or mine) cockpit mods for proper folder.

Ok...using UBoats software sounds like the good solution...but I have no dea what it's called...:music_whistling:

 

I can poke around the description.lua for the A-10c cockpit to see if it's plain enough to make it work...

Hello.

 

 

I am redoing some textures off this amazing MOD, and I wanted to point out a little mistake.

 

 

On the top left side of the fuel panel ( on the left console ), where it says EXT TKS, the lines under WING and FUS should be removed (see default).

 

 

I would do it myself, but I can't seem to get the A-10C-CPT-BOARDS-TXTDAY.DDL to work in photoshop 10.

or... instead downloading whole mod again, you can make a little modify to fix mirror bug.

 

Open: description.lua file (that was located in mod folder).

Find: {"A-10C_mirrors", 0, "a-10c_mirrors", true};

Replace: {"A-10C_mirrors", 0, "mirrors", true};

Save.

Thank you Devrim, its a lovely work ... and I really like the fact that we no longer need JSGME or OvGME for this kind of Mods .. I just have all of them on the Saved Games file tree.

And, yes, you're right. That's why I don't package the mod for any xxGME software anymore. It's enough to move Liveries folder, that's it.

A big thank you for fixing this great mod. I used to deactivate it when flying at night because of the backlighting issue but now I won't have to anymore! :D

 

Just a little remark: the readme says you must copy the folder to users\saved games\dcs but actually the path is Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\A-10C\

Not really .. its better to use the saved games path, so that you are not modifying the game's folders. This way you wont break the MP's integrity check and the game's updates wont mess with the Mod.

That's right. All cockpit mods now can be located in Saved Games folder. You don't need to touch or install/uninstall them unless an update for mod.

 

(Install & forget).

 

That's why there's no need for xxGME softwares.
