So landings for me in helicopters are always tricky. I make sure to keep an eye on the Vertical Velocity Indicator and keep it where I want it. When you get close to the ground (just like in the Huey) you'll find you need to pull more collective and apple right rudder. Its all a matter of practice.

This is why we released it in Nevada first. The Vegas crowd loves big explosions.

It took me an hour or two practicing and with a bit of luck, I managed this. It'll probably be a while before I can do this by routine like in the Mi-8.

Also, I should note that I've been through a lot of crashes in a lot of aircraft. But I've never felt (too) bad for the pilot. Here, though, he ..... screams. Or at least grunts/groans as he dies. Makes me feel the pain ...
