grunf Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 It seems there will be a 2.0.3 patch this Friday. Will the Mig-21 be updated with the fixes/features currently present in 1.5.4? Maybe some new ones?
Frederf Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 The cockpit flood light binaries should be in by then.
MiG21bisFishbedL Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 I just hope that 2.0 is functioning; I want to fly the MiG over Nevada again. Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!

decipher Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 at least the kneeboard is working properly again. though aso-2 problems still remain.
NaCH Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 Anyone know if the change log has made available for the mig21?
frumpy Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Is it possible to revert to the old version? If yes, how is that done?
humptydumpty Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 I don't know why but I am enjoying the bird now. Maybe they changed the FM and the acceleration. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Attitude Power Trim Power Attitude Trim Wing Commander SWAC
Art-J Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Is it possible to revert to the old version? If yes, how is that done? You would have to revert the whole game I guess, using instructions from this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114030 i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.

Art-J Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Are we getting proper ASP gunnery/ranging function in next update? Check it out now, as intrigued by a reply in different thread, I did some testing and it seems to be working already, in 1.5.4 U3 at least. In "gun" mode, radar measures range and calculates pipper depression for locked targets down to 600 m (as it should), as long as targets don't pull too many Gs. Accuracy isn't perfect, but I've managed to gun down a couple of Su-22 drones orbiting with 1.2 G from 800-1100 m distances(!). And that was even when they were going 400 km/h, so 100 below optimal calculating conditions range. It still doesn't display the range correctly on the scale (I guess it should, but have to check it), nevertheless, It's already a massive improvement over previous implementations. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
BadHabit Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 The ballistic drop is correct. Over 3 g the pipper is way of the HUD whilst it should be readable even at 5-6 g's. And it is not giving the correct span-mil for the pilot to calculate the range. Think same function as the pipper on the stag. Which in radar mode it does calculate correct but it is way to jumby.. Art-J Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 I cannot agree with all of that. It is visible up to 6G, just at 300 m fixed range setting. At longer distances obviously it will disappear at lower G's, as the target is just too far to track. I still think it might be visible for a bit too long in our sim, as in the real unit, it was limited to 7 degrees of movement range in all directions, meaning it shouldn't go much beyond the outer ring of the fixed net (radius of 100 mils = 6 degrees), yet it does. That's not a big problem, though. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
BadHabit Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Yeah maybe half visible. Haven't tested also manual mod on air to air gunnery.
