I´ve got a question regarding my WIP livery

 

Does anyone know which font is used for bort numbers etc.?

I found a design document regarding fonts and stencils on Navy aircraft but on the pictures it seems that the font is more condensed - so is it the font from the document in a more condensed form or is it another font?

Which font are you guys using for stencils, numbers etc. ?

 

I´m also looking for the font of "VFC-111"

 

Any help would be much appreciated!

Two questions:

 

1)Can someone point me in the right direction for the area under the cannons? Trying to make it black like the rest of the nose.

 

2) Trying to use the Bort numbers on the vertical stabilizers. Numbers show, but I get this error:

 

 

Currently I just edited the .lau, but do I have to place a .dds file for the text in a folder? Or can I find one within the DCS folder somewhere? I can find the .dds files for the larger nose based Bort numbers, but not these small ones.

Diffuse and Specular (if used) Textures for the Borts Must Match the mesh textures.

 

So,

the Rudder Borts need to have your Rudder Diffuse Texture in the Borts Diffuse Channel,

nose borts need to have your nose diffuse texture in the diffuse channel:

Are there layered templates for the pilot, helmet and drop tanks available?

 

Especial for the helmet and drop tanks a wire frame would be very helpful.

Elevator end caps, 25.25 down, 25.5 left. Turn on the UVW lines and you'll see them. Top one goes with the top elevator.

I´ve got one more question - from the pictures I have of the F-5N 761352 (Lt Rob Ceravolo) it seems that there are only very few decals on the plane.

My problem is that in all of the pictures I only can get a glimpse of the upper / under wing side and so I don´t know if there are any markings on it.

 

 

e.g. US insignia or warning decals

 

So do I put the US insignia on it or not? I´ve seen pictures of other sundowners without any markings on the wing.

 

Does anyone by chance have a picture where upper / lower side of the plane can be seen?

It almost certainly has a small US roundel on the top of the left wing and the bottom of the right wing.

I think that the US roundel (on the right wing) would be visible on this photo if it was there, even though it's small resolution and a weird angle:

 

 

And if it's not on the lower right, it's not on the upper left either. I don't know about any other stuff on the upper side though.
