Is there a way to create a profile that temporarily disables certain motors, such as the back ones? I have relatively minor back surgery I may need, and would really like to still use the leg motors which would pose no issue to me!

Well, this would be really easy to set up with the new SimShaker Pad, but what is your seat type?

Talking about exactly the Gametrix Jetseat, there is a zip lock across its back side. If you unzip it you will find a soft foam layer underneath. If you carefully slightly cut the foam you will find a motors connection board inside the seat. The connectors are covered with a thermo-glue, which can be soften with a hair dryer for example. You can disconnect the motors of your choice there.
As another option you can edit some of the samples in SimShaker for Aviators package, but I'm afraid it's much more boring.

Ah, thank you very much!!!

If I wanted to edit the samples, is there a good resource for that?

hello @=Andre= @f4l0

im currently having an issue with simshaker.

i believe my problem is because i have SimHub installed, which also has a script/hook lua file for bass shakers.

at the moment, simhub will take telemetry from dcs to my audio card but simshaker does not, even though test the module in sound module works with my audio card..

im also going to ask the simhub group, but im checking here also, any info much appreciated

i have uninstalled Simhub.

and u also reinstalled Simshaker

i can NOT get telemetry so that effects run on simshaker..

i see the verbose log is showing good activity on Aviators, how ever NOTHING is happening in sound module. (yes correct sound card is select, and test works)

looked at my log file but not helping...

repaired the export lua, with no success

my export lua contains

local SimShakerlfs=require('lfs'); dofile(SimShakerlfs.writedir()..'Scripts/SimShaker.lua')
dofile(SimShakerlfs.writedir()..[[Scripts\SimShaker-export-core\ExportCore.lua]])
pcall(function() local dcsSr=require('lfs');dofile(dcsSr.writedir()..[[Mods\Services\DCS-SRS\Scripts\DCS-SimpleRadioStandalone.lua]]); end,nil)

dofile(lfs.writedir()..[[Scripts\SimShaker-export-core\ExportCore.lua]])

update.

from my other PC, i made some custom wav sounds files.

i put these files in the customized simshaker sound module folder to the PC that i am experiencing simshaker and i am able to get bass shaker effects....

what if you press the Test Vibe-Motors button on the 3rd SSA settings tab?

im not using my jetseat.. what should i expect to happen when i press SSA? cause right now its not doing anything.. or at least i dont know what i am looking for

it also sends the test command to the Sound Module
as it does nothing it looks like there is no interaction between SimShaker for Aviators and Sound Module
as it's conducted via network protocol I would suspect a firewall software blocking the packets sent by SimShaker for Aviators

Is the interaction something that the logger will log?

Yes, the commands sent/received can be seen in the log boxes of both SimShaker for Aviators and Sound Module
