Yes, the local samples have the same behavior. Some are super loud, others are so faint you can’t feel them.

I run SimVibe through the same sound card/amp/transducer for iRacing and all of the various volumes seem ok there. Seems strange.

Hi guys,

Recently had to replace my motherboard and CPU....same hard drives.

I can't get my buttkicker to fire (have it setup as guided by F410 in a previous post) and was working perfectly til the crash. Now I get this error

Thank you for using SimShaker software!

Happy flying :)

Any thoughts? I have the buttkicker hooked to my line out on my Realtech audio on my motherboard.

Thanks, Jason

...Here's my problem. Now I have some sounds that are VERY pronounced, even on low percentages ( touchdown, for example, is VERY strong). But other sounds are very very weak (ground roll is almost unperceptable, even on 100%).

Something similar here: To me the G-force effect seems lower. Looking at the sound files used for the effects (Simshaker Module, not Simshaker for aviators) there is no single channel entry anymore for G-effect; only references to G-effect are in the dual channel folder. This is a change if I recall, from the original install.

A G-effect sound file (in fact there are 4 now, instead of 1, all in the 2-channel folder, none in the 1-channel) is still there but it's more 'muted' no matter what volume level.

it's like the range is lower; I can start to feel it a little, then a slight increase, then it'll max out quickly and never get any higher; feels like the output isn't scaling to the range, for instance:

I have G set to come on at 2. I'll get a slight feeling at 2-G, good. Yet it will max out at, say, 4-G and never increase beyond that level. Just seemed to work better a few weeks/months ago.

Not sure if it's SSM or SSA related, or both. Not sure where to go for info on the former but something seems to have changed.

This is not mission critical error for SimShaker Sound Module. I will stop marking it red in next versions. Just network interfaces config is odd in your system.

G-feeling effect has never been implemented with a single sample. It has always been implemented with 4 samples.

You can use previous version of SimShaker Sound Module if you like it better. But I didn't changed any samples in version 2.12, which actually features just minor changes and a few more samples for new SSA effects.

Thank you sir. Maybe my butts just getting used to it Bigger amp may be the answer. Thanks again. I'll play with the sound files too, using the custom folder. Just feels like there used to be more range there in the G-feeling; feels now like there's only about 2-3 G's worth right now...ASCII graph:

Today I was testing some TPOD settings on the Hornet, so after spending a while on mission editor, I decided to fly. A quick test so didn´t plug in my ForceFeel seat.

When I got to the target area and started dropping GBU-12s, and felt NOTHING, I remembered what an amazing piece of software Simshaker is. It adds tons of inmersion.

So thank you guys for that.

Hoping for some recommendations.

I configured Simshaker for use with Xplane11 recently. Since then, and despite de-selecting it, I'm having a spot of bother in DCS when running both the client and server on the same PC.

In short, the log implies that Simshaker is looking for output data from the server saved games folder. I'm assuming that it should be taking it from the client. The implications being that my jetseat is doing nothing. I know that it's working and powered up, as the test buttons work. Hence why I'm guessing that it's down to something I've done, which has resulted in it looking in the wrong directory.

To add to the above, if I run the server on an another PC, everything works fine.

Any good recommendations?

Been trying to turn off specific motors. Tried searching for how to create my own UVW file, tried searching everywhere for downloads or info. Anything I can try?

Yep I'm reading the forum Andre

Just received my new JetSeat FSE today after a record quick manufacture and delivery all the way from Russia to New Zealand! Had a bit of a fly around in DCS with jets and choppers and all I can say is wow - really adds to the experience in VR!

Fits perfectly in my Obutto game rig seat, but has moved me forward and up a fair way so had to re-arrange everything a bit, but no biggie.

Just now tweaking my settings for each individual aircraft - man loving firing off those cannons on the Ka-50 and the Gatling on the Tomcat - just flying around shooting anything and everythinig, no bush is safe. Haven't even tried the minigun on the Huey of the A-10 yet!

The build quality and customer service by Andre is second to none - so thanks for such an awesome product! Attached a pic of my Franken-pit ;).

Good news :) Cheers!

Andre I just have a few questions for you - the only real issue I am having with the seat is there seems to be a delay of 2-3 seconds for a lot of the effects from when they happen in DCS to when the seat reacts.

Things like touchdown and buffet in the Huey, AB in the Mirage, speedbrake in the Mirage, gear movement on the Tomcat etc., but things like firing the guns in the Mirage are instant so it is not a connection issue I would guess. It is a little strange when you touchdown, then a few seconds later as you are sitting there you get a 'bump', same with a lot of things.

It is a shame as really if the effects are that different from the actual sim then really it makes the experience worse not better, so really there is no point having it.

Is there something I can do to fix this, like editing the profiles or anything? I have tried different USB ports etc but as I say a lot of the effects are instant like the cannon fire, and I just touched down in the Mirage and it was instant for MLG and NLG touchdown.

Also, when sitting on the tarmac not moving in the Mirage it just gives a constant low brrr.....brrr.....brrr every second. A problem with the engine effect?

Sorry, but as I say it is a pretty big 'immersion' breaker having such a big disconnect between the event and the effect in the seat :(.

Sound strange.Seat must react immediately once it receives the command from SimShaker for Aviators. I think you can check it with "Test Vibe-motors" button at the 3rd SimShaker for Aviators tab.

Sry you probably didn't see my edit - I tried looking at the .uwv files to see if maybe there was a delay programmed into some effects, but hovering over the checkbox does not tell you which file the effect uses - so impossible to tell.

Yes I have run the test and it works fine - 6 motor activations. Also as I mentioned some effects like firing the gun works instantly.

I just tried setting SSA to 'Realtime' priority in the Task manager, loaded up DCS and tried again and the Huey was perfect, touchdown worked fine, and then swapped to Mirage and everything like landing gear and AB was synched also, so tried the F-14 Tomcat and noted the delay again, so went back to the Huey and again it was delayed, with no touchdown effect at all. I even tried turning the seat on and off in the DCS menu - no change.

Quit DCS, and loaded up again and tried the Huey - again delay and no touchdown effect. So beats me, pretty annoying thou...:no_sad:
