Forget about that cheesy romantic drama with a few cool flying scenes.

[Engineering nerd alert]:

If anyone is going to do any virtual bird flipping, it would have to be a 3D version of Bob Widlar in the cockpit:

Well if we were going to be totally realistic about it, you should only be able to do it while inverted.

And over top of a "MiG-28" while your flight lead goes home alone.......

"That's some of the best flying I've seen yet. Right up to the part where you got killed....." - Jester

Wow, when does the MIG-28 module come out? I hope they get the thrust to weight ratio correct. And I've heard it has a problem with it's inverted flight tanks.

IRL I believe the pilots were often friendly and sometimes the Western pilots showed the Soviets Playboy centrefolds.

psychological warfare, if they are distracted they have a higher likelihood of mucking up

Or keeping it friendly helped ease tension, back some pressure off of unsure trigger fingers, etc.....

You are right! Why i bought DCS modules when i font have the most important thing in the battlefield

How do you think the soviets shoot down the U-2 spy jet? he fliped the bird and then the sam detected him

Im gonna go to ED office and say to the CEO straight in the eyes. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

See? And to think that Powers could have avoided all of that unwanted press by simply packing a Playboy in his helmet bag. Missile comes up, Centerfold to the windscreen, missile goes home.........Excellent thinking.
